  • What's the spec on this cams please

  • one of the rare times you dont need a wot to appreciate the sweet sound of american muscle

  • sounds badass. i wish mine sounded like that lol

  • specs?

  • man i miss my moms mach1 that bitch was all black and ran 7.60 in the 1/8th with just headers catback and bolt ons and was still a street car. theis bitches can move

  • I'm trying to figure out, the mentality of the two idiots who disliked this video. It either came up on their newsfeed, because they like car vids, in which case, they should like it, because the car sounds wicked. OR, they ACTIVELY searched out, and viewed this video, which pretty much describes itself verbatim in the title.

    Morons..

  • what kind of numbers are you making

  • Yes chevy likes pushrods engines, b ut i do believe they put a quad cam in a vette in the mid 90s i think.

  • yep that'd be the corvette zr1. it had a 5.7 liter DOHC V8 that was built by Mercury Marine. they were pretty costly to maintain though from what i hear but it's a pretty awesome engine

  • northstar too

  • SOHC (one cam over each head) = 2 cams total

DOHC (2 cams over each head) = 4 cams

    No pushrods in either.

  • yeah, as if i was confused!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What kinda power did it put down with the cams? Any headwork?

  • any numbers yet?

  • I have a 03 Mach1 in the same color with twin 62mm acufab, CL 85mm MAF and CAI, O/R UPR X-pipe, Viper spec T-56 six speed from D&D performance, Alum 12lb fly and alum D/S with kevlar clutch, with stock 3:55 gears with a custom tune from SCT from JMS tuning here in MS. It was dynoed at JMS chip and ran at 309 RWHP Natural aspirated. Future plans are to add some xtreme energy comp cams,3/8'' intake spacer, longtubes, meizer electric water pump, and maybe some taller gears maybe 3:73's or so.

  • Where do you get these cams at?

  • nice mann. bad ass horsepower apx?

  • sounds awesome

  • wow, u are a fucking tease. you should have reved that badass up.. shit is sexyas fuck man.. i am a huge mustang fan.. mustangs 4 life.. ufck importsd.. mustang pride man... fuckin sick ass video bro.... i like that ROAR shit.. fuck those japapanese cars that sound like vacuum cleaners..

  • @Heroin666 dude there's PLENTY of vids on the net of machs reving and racing and what have you...the reason for this video is to hear the cam lope at idle. if he's reving it to death you couldn't hear that...there's plenty of other vids where you can see machs w the same setup reving, I'm mustangs for life too I've owned 6 and my next will probably be a mach...hopefully next summer...

  • Omg i kept playing this over and over

  • damn i just got that car what cam??????

  • I WANT!!!!!!!!!!

  • 2 cams isnt it....DOHC?

  • V8 DOHC = 4 cams

  • SOHC = 1 cam on top of each head = 2 cams

DOHC = 2 cams on top of each head = 4 cams

  • yup in beatiful harmony. love those 4v

  • wow that is a badass sound!

  • beautiful

  • I love it, that sounds great, nice job!!!

  • i love how it sound.

  • I just love that sound. Nice.

  • how much was da dual cams and what kind of cams?

  • That sounds beautiful!

  • Are those HP's 292 grind?

  • eh sounds good, it just dosnt have lound pipes it sounds like it has some hot cams too

  • awesome sounds like a 1969 mach one not a 2003 mach one

    xD

  • Wonderful, ain't it?

  • What Kind of headers do u have on ur mach 1 and muffler setup

  • When this video was made, I had bbk ceramic lt's, bbk o/r h pipe and slp lm1 catback.

  • With the cams and all the bolt onls you need to be able to get the exhaust gasses out as fast as possible. Believe me this car will spin up to 7500k before you can look at the tachometer.

  • sounds awesome, but sounds like there might too much of a loss in back pressure, just a hunch. and if theres too much of a loss, u lose HP too, but who cares, the car is fast anyway.

  • Less backpressure does not equal lose in anything, it just movesit up the RPM band so if you don't change the gears or retune the computer it feels like you've lost.
