this is why i love GOW 3 so much more than GOW2, GOW2 was unplayable online. the only gun worth using was the gnasher. but the lancer is my favorite gun now

I had a 0.8 KDR when I used the Retro. I used the Lancer, and it brought it up to 1.1

I know KDR doesn't really matter to most people, but to bring it from 0.8 to 1.1 just by using the Lancer isn't that bad.

Execution was the bane of Lancer-use for me, and now I end up getting 2 kills and 8 downs. I hate having to play Execution, all I want is Warzone.

@tjbyrum1 i agree that Warzone is the better gametype. Simply for the reason that you can kill people from distance. It is not logical to me that you cannot shoot people and kill them when they are down. I also wonder why the majority of people prefer this.

@gow2portal Yeah, I started using the Lancer on Sunday, and I currently have 105 downs and 23 kills with it. I am sure those kills could be up to at least 95-100 if I was playing Warzone instead of Execution.

@360ModdingTut You can't put Lancer and Retro in the same setence. Lancer is extremly hard to use compared to a retro. And you almost always need to keep the active going because it doesn't have the Hb's accrecy and range

@ZitOnPictureDay i asked my self that and just yesterday i saved my life from one in in cover and stuff and i look on the floor and i see a shadow running at me i do a roll to the left then i put my gnasher and head shot him

@ZitOnPictureDay Your best bet is to stick with the pack. If you're playing with decent people ( not talking skill, I'm talking about polite ones) they will watch your back and flanks. At least that is what I do.

Are you serious about this video? You even switched your shotgun for the HoD at 1:47.

Lancer is used for getting angles, not for spraying someone down close range.

@bassiej777 Try it. You can beat gnasher with blindfire lancer. The lancer is even more deployable now than ever before.

@gow2portal No offense, but a perfect gnasher player can always win versus a perfect lancer player at close range. Obviously if the lancer uses tactics, like strafing and backing up while the gnasher holds the left trigger and misses, the victor will be the lancer. Just like a gnasher user can win medium range versus a lancer user if the he uses tactics like cover and pop shotting, while the lancer stands still while in the open. Also great video for beginners but dislike for the pre-activing :/
