The real truth is,if your like me,(a great singer) and you haven't written your own songs,post videos of yourself doing covers for popular songs that are out there at the moment,learn to play an instrument,and enter any contest you can,then if people like your stuff,tell them to check you out on youtube,thats honestly the real ticket to getting noticed,I haven't tried this site yet,but I will,just follow the steps I said,and you should take off,if you have what it takes,hope this helpled!

@kamrenfan either :)if you wrote it and they think its good they will definitely sign you on BUT if you do a cover, they might accept you only and record labels are looking for really good looking people, people with lovely faces, slim, have sharp noses(op) etc.Send them a few songs but most major labels dont accept sending of songs thru the internet (unsolicited demos) because they are afraid of being sued. but if you search there ARE labels accepting those :)Hope it helped n other ques anyone?

take one step at a time. Sign up for the solo in a school chior, sing in front of ur friends. It wont happen over night. I know it's scary but go take some classes, that will boost ur courage. Don't talk about it and feel sorry fo urself because right now you arn't winning, fear is.
