@kirzruba When I arrived in Cusco, I went to the main square (Plaza de Armas) and booked the jungle trek with one of the agencies there. I can't remember the name of the company that I chose, but I'm assuming most of them are reliable.
WOW! I love your travel videos. My family & I are going to Peru next summer. We are going to Machu Pichu by train, but the hike looks great. Is it REALLY physically demanding?
I have so enjoyed your travels around the world! You have taken me places I will never be able to visit myself. I will definitely help you promote your grand finale video.
@caa1000 I certainly hope that I'll be able to take another adventure soon... everything comes down to my final video - if I can make it go viral, then there's a chance that I'll be able to continue traveling... I'll need everyone's help to promote it once it comes out!
Been watching you since about halfway through Europe, kinda sad there will be no more travel videos! Your journey has definitely inspired me to make a trip of my own within the next few years, will you do a video about things you didn't really need to bring, or things you wish you had etc? Good luck in the future and can't wait to see the grande finale!
@J3tal I'm happy to hear that I've inspired you to take a trip of your own. I'll likely do a few more videos in the future - answering some of the frequently asked questions that I've received. Thanks for your support!
noo keep traveling!!!! haha, it's been a blast watching all your videos and learning a bit along the way! i'll share with as many people as i can when the final product comes out. i was on vacation in the uk earlier myself and was wondering where your final country would be and am glad you've completed this trip on such a memorable note!
@itsjustyu Yeah, I think Machu Picchu was the perfect place to finish my trip - such a memorable experience. Thanks for following my journey, I appreciate the support!
Awesome! I am planning on going to MP next year. Did you need the 2 days to acclimatize to the altitude? And did you just spend 1 day at MP or longer?
I think I speak for many that it has been an amazing ride following you since the beginning. I have lived vicariously through you this last year and now I guess it is my time to slowly start chipping away at my own travel list. Good luck in your future endeavors.
@bmk2307 Everyone reacts differently to the altitude - I felt much better after spending a couple days acclimatizing in Cusco, but some people are able to jump into the hike right away... We spent 1 full day at Machu Picchu which I feel was more than enough time. Since we arrived early in the morning, we had plenty of time to explore the ruins. Thanks for watching!
@WoodyRoundTheWorld Thanks for watching! Stay tuned for my final video - if it becomes popular enough, I may be able to earn enough money to continue traveling - I'll need everyone's help to spread it around the web!
Hey It has been a blast following you around the world. I always thought that was so cool. Life experience that nothing can match. Hey I will do what I can when you come out with the final video. I have 150 facebook friends and 1250 youtube subscribers so that might be a little help.
Hey Duane, I see you saved the best for last. LOL My wife's Home Country. Well That was cool to see you hike to Machu Picchu, we took the train. When you went up to Sacsayhuamán and saw the 100 tonne megatithic stones perfectly cut and put together did you have the feeling like I did that the Inca's were not the builders? Machu Picchu is cool I had some cool dreams under that one little tree while my wife went around the ruins. Guess th altitude got to me. HAHA
@MoneyBags73 Yes, Sacsayhuamán was very impressive - I really wonder how it was constructed. Thanks so much for your support over the course of my trip! I'm excited to share my final video with everyone... I truly think it can turn things around for my channel and give me the exposure I need.
I can honestly say you videos were/are freaking amazing! I found you channel around September/October and have been anxiously awaiting each new video since then. Your one year trip is an experience few will experience. I'll make sure to spread your next video/all your videos around as much as I can. Good luck adjusting to the "real" world
@ResetLiveGrow Do you have any plans to make a DVD of your trip? I'm guessing you have a bunch of unused footage that you didn't use in your vlogs. I, and I'm guessing many other people would be more than willing to buy it. It could even help off set some of your crazy debt lol
@IrishProductionsND I hadn't thought about putting a DVD together, but it's a good idea. At the moment, I'm hoping to pay off my debt by either getting a corporate sponsorship or generating enough ad revenue from youtube. I really think my final video will be able to help accomplish this... can't wait to share it with the world!
@ifuckinglovetrance Glad you enjoyed it! I signed up for the tour when I arrived in Cusco... the group was made up of tourists from all over the world.
Nice video!!!
