  • the monsters in the game only match the weakest ally you have, thats why i had squal as lvl 80 and everyone else 16 and 20s

  • hey, nice casting, you're awesome guy :)

  • I use ePSXe everyting works.. Excpet when i'm in a battle i do not see the grey bars! Nor can i sellect DRAW or use MAGIC / ITEMS

It must be a setting error on my part but i cant figure out wich one it is..

    Help!!

  • who would dislike this!!!!

  • btw during tutorials you dont have to edit it out. simply press cancel (in ur case, O) when the first text thingo finishes and it ends tutorial

  • if i had the game i'd name squall leon bcuz squall is called leon in kingdom hearts and im used to squall being called that

  • U DA BOMB BRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i dont loke RPG games :( i like FPS games :)

  • I only use the magic junction skill for checking the number of spells I have,I'm just weird like that. ^^

  • zell is okay he can kind of be annoyind at time depending on what he's saying or doing at the time.

  • I love selphie, Quitis, Squall, the snippper the princess.

Seifer is a major jerk so is the empress.

The only bad guys that are bigger jerks them are that guy from the early games that posioned the lake water.

Seperoth is definetly the biggest, smartest of all the jerkss that are villians in the franchise. by how ive seen him potrayed in all the music videos.

  • some of sub quest I think your forced to do. Like early in disk 2 I think your forced to watch the concert that Sophie and the others put one I think. I know getting diablos and the brothers summons are opoitonal boss fights.

  • ...I generally leave ATB to wait... cause enemies cant do anything while your selecting magic and stuff... so you can also run while your doing that... and it comes in handy when you NEED to run... like from a T-Rex (Btw, some of them carry Ga level Fire/Thunder spells, good way to get powerful early on without Lionheart, I'm at lv 40 before Ifrit.)

  • dude ty for your video! Just love watching it!!!!

  • wow you talked 10 mins in this video..

  • you know, you can skip the tutorials by pressing the triangle button so you dont have to edit them out =)

  • @L3onH3ar7 In his case, he pressed O instead, since he switched the buttons.

By the way, train on the enemies at the beach near the fire caverns, the enemies give 3 AP each, and come in sets of two every time, which gives 6 AP. AP is used to make your GFs learn skills.

You should learn SumMag +10/20/30% and Boost before the SeeD invasion of Dollet to kill a monster that can give your GFs 50 AP each time you kill it (not counting initial battle)

  • u should do a lets play final fantasy 1

  • It's so entertaining when you narrate :)

  • You're a great LPer and everything (my favourite)....but please don't use that selphie voice! heh

  • I love your LPs I watch them instead of looking at at a guide, because I feel like I need a visual of what going to happen to be confident.

  • great work!

  • I'm ashamed to say it but i always thought FF sucked. Not just this one but ALL of them. But this LP showed it in a whole new light

  • dude yr the best i love yr videos

  • fuck yeah your my new favorite LPer

  • 5/5 bro. Awesome

  • &fmt=18

add this to the end of the html

  • Video Editing ftw. glad to see this Game getting a let's play

  • There are a couple of subplots you can get started in Balamb Garden as well. Go to the Cafeteria to see a somewhat humourous introduction to Zell and the Disciplinary Committee, but the objective is to talk to the Cafeteria lady on the left choosing the 3rd option everytime. The other, is going to the library and talking to the Girl with a Pigtail (it's actually a french braid, but oh well).

  • Also, I prefer junctioning Shiva to Squall for two reasons: 1) Quistis' limit break is magic based; Quezacotl has the Mag-J ability, 2) I like to go the No-Levelling way so Squall's main intent is to be the one that takes out Ifrit since you control when you want a critical and Quistis will be in charge of keeping them healed.

  • She says that registration is over in the UK

  • The enemies level is based on average of your entire party. That's all... 6 (?) characters, not just the 3 you use in battle. Needless to say, this can make the battles _even easier_ than it already is if you get 3 characters to level 100 and leave the other 3 at their base levels. That means that (with the exceptions of about 3 bosses; Ifrit, Ultima Weapon, Omega Weapon. The first is always level 6, the latter two are always level 100) all enemies will be around level 55.

  • @Dragonatrix

Well, I guess there's supposed to be 6 charas at any time, since one character is in your party as long as another one is "taken out"

  • They do not level if they are not equipped. Just so you know. And EXP is split between how many GFs you have junctioned to the character.

  • press triangle(in your case circle cos you changed it) and you can skip tutorials.

  • It was really nice how you edited out the Quistis Junction explanation, thats one of those things you can't skip in the game and I hate it so much lol.

  • I'm sure a lot of guys could tell you the importance of GFs, heh.

Oh god that was a terrible joke. Someone shoot me....

Great LP series. I've never finished, or really enjoyed FF8, but I'm interested in seeing it run through.

  • You DO NOT wanna gain more than one level here. If you do, your grade and rank will be lowered.

  • I plan on doing the written tests so that really doesn't matter much to me :)

  • Selphie is my fav!

  • This could be interesting... have fun.

  • Ah, FFVIII. The Final Fantasy I never finished. :/ I got to the final boss, and died. And never bothered to try again. maybe this LP will get me going again.

    Good luck. :)

  • ooo i forgot to say one more thing thereee an occult mag in the library i dont actually know if youve got it but it allows you to get hints on gettin doomtrain who allows the weapon upgrade ability thing i forgot to get first time lol

  • oh ya forgot about the occult mag lol. I don't think its there till later on though, anyway I already know how to get Doomtrain :D I know a bit about FF8, I just don't know it as well as I do FF6, we'll see how things go :D

  • Actually it is there right away, and you should probably mention that when you draw-cast a spell the damage or healing is random. Oh and there is a hidden esuna draw point in the train tunnel were you can get i stock of and another esuna draw point in the library.

  • I knew about the one in the train station, didn't remember the one in the library. I was actually gonna go get the train station one in episode 3, but I decided to wait till I actually have to go to Balamb town to pick it up I'll look for the one in the library latr

  • It is directly to the left of the occult magazine in an extra area.

  • p.s press triangle to skip

  • its never let me skip the initial tutorials X_x oh well lol

  • hi 5 doing ff8 im plyin it at the moment started 2 days ago. im at the missile base. and how do you grind for your magic? do you use card refinery into magic refinery or do you just use the items recieved and tents etc.?

  • Mostly I just look for enemies that have the spells I want and just spam draw. I sometimes though draw 100 level 1 spells and use the magic level up ability 2 thunder = 1 thundara ect
