Annette's vocal range might not be as great as her predecessor's but she's still humble and not acting like she bigger then the band. If anything, I think Annette's voice has enhanced the band and encouraged them to take a new road rather than follow the path that Tarja would have kept them on. If you can appreciate DPP I find it quite unreasonable to continue further conversation with you, unless you actually do posses adequate knowledge given the facts about Nightwish, rather than your beliefs. That'll make you someone who i could appreciate. Thanks

I don't understand why people are even still having this argument literally YEARS after the split happened. This band is no different than allot of others. Example: The same thing happened when Ozzy left Black Sabbath to be a solo artist, and Sabbath replaced him with Ronnie Dio. Some people loved the new line up; while others bewailed the whole thing. Both bands (Ozzy's Band) and Sabbath both continued on to make great music.
This is no different. What's done is done.

peep's need to get over it. traja is gone because she was being a yoko and threatening to break up the band! and regardless of whether or not you feel she was a better singer than anette, anette is doing a great job trying to fill her shoes. journey has had 3 new singers since perry left and they still sell out concert halls everywhere they tour. whether you're a tarja fan or an anette fan, you should support nightwish because you love nightwish.

Tarja is extraordinary (her voice as well as her arrogance^^) and nobody will ever be able to copy her. But I'm really surprised how well Annette does this song. Especially for a live version, the quality is perfect.
I think Nightwish is far better off with a singer who feels that she is part of the band, even if her voice is not that exceptional.
