Well, the "secret private bank" as Doctor Paul put it, lowered rates enough to keep the house of cards going for a bit more. Plus injecting 200 billion dollars into the banking system in the last few weeks helped a bit too. WATCH GOLD, that tells the story of what is really happening to the dollar!!

My DVD gets into this very deep. We agree on many things, but maybe not on how following/or rejecting the Constitution affect Amercia. The Constitution embodies eternal truths and law. Ameriica has rejected it...for many reasons. Judgement day is coming to the U.S. for rejecting allmot all truth.

he said it before the fed meeting, so maybe he goes short in aftermarket :-) ..he still bearish, expects collapse of word markets within next 9 months, and that US will ouperform other markets, which will lead to a flight in US market by foreign money managers which will support the USD. he said that 1 month ago that he is no USD bear..he made pretty good forecasts so far, but he awaits the crash since 2006 now :-)

The U.S. dollar will not be be supported..only in small spurts. Marc is wrong on that one. There will be tremendous action shorting the US long bond 9 months out. Tremendous action. Watch for gold to break out to all time highs in the next 60-90 days. The bankers are pulling the plug.

yes looks good medium- long term for Gold&stocks but also did mid of August when goldstocks were 30% cheaper from now, not really much changed up to yesterday, now almost breakout in HUI, last 2 breakout they retraced back after breakout, so my view is Okt-Nov 4 year cycle low will probably bring more weakness in goldstock sector, i expect final liftoff end of year!

Dr. Marc Faber (gloom&doom professor) said 1 month ago that he would wait for the market to calm and then take new short positions, today he said he is convinced that Fed and government have the power to hold markets up, though he is convinced that fundamentals are so bad, he says there will come better times to position oneself in market, but gold and gold stocks investments are now good for "those who are very optimistic"

I just called my town clerks office. sending me my voter party change today. I was told we are not doing primaries till the spring and the rules here are you have to change partys no less then 20 days before the primary date. I live in Massachusetts.

I was a sometimes volunteer for Keyes in 2000, but I'm 100% Ron Paul now. Alan is a fine speaker but has no record to run on and doesn't draw the other side to his PoV like Ron is now with many lefties.

The hope with Ron Paul is that such a Revolution can be accomplished by peaceful means -- that a fight is not required. You are definitely right about one thing, though. One man cannot bring about this change. We need to be prepared to elect other representatives with similar views and to become more active in politics in general if we are to peacefully change this country.

I was at -- OK, I was *outside* -- an Obama appearance in Portland, OR a couple weeks ago, and about 3000 people came to see him. We had 10 demonstrators for RP there, to offer the attendees some "perspective". ;-) So actually, Ron is still behind in sheer numbers. But the gap is closing, and we got a lot of warm greets from some of the Obama fans. Keep on keeping on, folks, it's working. This SLC rally footage proves it. Seattle was similar 1 day earlier (I was there too).

While browsing youtube, some months ago, I've found the videos of a NEOCON propaganda "organization", in one of those videos in which they were talking about the all presidential candidates they said that Ron Paul is a nazi because "he blame america for 9/11".
