@NolanRocksoutloud justin broke it off after he found a note from wade j robson (britney and justins choreographer at the time) in britneys dressing room during saturday night live. apparently, it revealed an affair between britney and wade j. robson that began around sept '01, so justin broke-up with britney when he found out in '02. they denied their break-up in the press and didn't want to give reasons for the split. at least that the story ive read.

@mariskarox well i forgot the source of the story, since that comment was made a year ago (and I couldnt find your pics)... but I did hear another story about Britney receiving a phone call from Justin during one of her concerts and that is how justin broke it off. Although, I don't think the "how?" is as important as the "why?," which already has been widely publicized.
