  • I like the way this looks, as well as many of the others you've made, but I prefer to use buckles. Is there some simple way to do so with your designs, or would it be necessary to change them up to suit the task?

  • Even after watching the part on the 2-Strand Diamond Knot Clasp 20 plus times I still can’t get the knot to come out right.

  • Love this knot, it looks like a hedgehog! Cannot wait for my latest order of paracord to get here so I can try it! Ly x

  • I like this knot, quite a startling effect and very satisfying. I have a question that no one seems to have picked up on. You specify equal lengths of cord but in this instance the blue uses far more cord material as it is wrapped through and round before cinching. You end up however, with equal lengths of cord. I don't. Am I doing something wrong or should the proportion of cord be [say] 2:1 with blue being the greater?

    Thanks for the superb videos!

  • could this method be incorporated into the wide solomon bar to make a rifle sling?

  • Just made an orange and green one of these and looks good but i couldn't do the diamond knot at the end, so I did a monkey knot which I found easier.

  • @ashighasapie wierd, diamond knots are pretty easy for me but monkeys fists stump me so far

  • @ashighasapie There is the same knot used in the corset spine bracelet video and its easier to follow. I had some trouble with this one too.

  • Thank you so much to have accepted my answer in video.

  • That looks amazing

  • where you buy the switch flame butane torch ?

  • nice! I've made 3 already! including one where i rotated the colors on the strap! I may need to post a pic of it to your facebook page.

  • The butane lighters can be found on budk and they run from $10-$40, but it doesn't make a difference in quality when you buy cheaper ones compared to the more expensive ones.

  • exelente

  • There were no survivors

  • Really cool bracelet. Wasnt a fan of the flashing though.

  • wow. great video JD I'm impressed. you ever taken acid and created a new knot?

  • I've allways been facinated by knots and their complexity. But all the books/videos I've seen have been hard to follow. You on the other hand have truely mastered the art of conveying what you do in an easy to ounderstand way. You rock, man!

  • Neat pattern, thanks for sharing! :)

  • gut gemachtes Video, Daumen hoch. VlG Hornissenpapst

  • Been waiting for a new video from you man. Sweet knot, and reversible too :-). Been busy here, haven't made anything in a while. Thanks for this one, will give it a whirl this week sometime. Take care.

  • Solomon will strike!! Thanks for this one

  • JD, you never cease to amaze me. Great video as always, i love seeing all of the different varriations of the soloman bar

  • Wow, no 301 views upon uploading?

  • where do we buy the cord?

  • How much would one of those fancy butane torches run me? I'm burning through Bic lighters, lol.

  • @Matthews

Check out DealExtreme(dot)com and search for "Jet 1300-C Butane Lighter"

  • JD, I love your channel & I think it's great what you're doing here. Having said that, I hope you don't take this the wrong way. I'm not really interested in reading your fiction. You want to sell books? Start putting these tyes you do on the net in print. If for nothing else to preserve them for the rest of us in the unfortunate event we ever lose the internet. I bought both your 2 Knotty Boys books & would gladly buy similar 1's. Thanks.

  • how or where do u get ur ideas?this is great

  • Thank You

  • cool

  • I bought a 1000 ft roll of 450 from the website you always link JD, but the paracord is flattened due to the pressure it received to keep the roll compact, and now it's kinda hard to work with, what do you say about that JD?

    Thanks for being awesome..

  • Is there a specific site that you get your 550 cord from?

  • Very cool looking knot. I look forward to trying this out.

  • awesome
