For most people, the Colormunki Display will be fine - the key thing about the whole Colormunki product line is that they are easy to use. The i1 Display Pro, although based on the same hardware, is faster the calibrate your screen (2 mins versus 5 mins) but the software is much more complicated/advanced to use. On the flip side, it has more options and you can see trending data etc. For most users = Colormunki Display, for advanced users = i1 Display Pro.
ColorMunki uses the same hardware. The i1 Pro software has way more custom options. Unless you're a pro photo or video color guy with huge industry clients, the ColorMunki should work beautifully for your needs. B&H has a good price with a $44 rebate until the end of Oct.
@amoergosum3 I've just started looking into colorimeters due to a mounting frustration with monitors. I believe the i1 Display Pro is marketed as a more advanced device than the ColorMunki. I personally don't know but that's what X-Rite claims.. I intend on getting one soon. Best of luck in your choice.
