Jesus can heal mental illness/schizo-affective

How blessed you are that God allows you to bear so much. It is truly a testament to to how strong you are. The doctors say "schizo-affective", I say "flying banana monkey disorder"; because they truly don't have a clue. Drugs are their way to control what they do not understand. As you know, it is a spiritual war, not a medical issue. It is clear that you have a strong spirit. Stay strong in the Lord, and God will deliver you because it is what he wants for your life my friend.

@Blessesbeyondbelief I'm not "cured" I just try to live for Jesus the best I know how. If you can live a life of try to please God you are conquering the illness that is trying to steal your joy. Peace

wow! great video to watch; there is a chief demon that the Devil puts over people with mental illness and he is destined to fall. Glad to see someone with the courage to believe in their own strength in the Lord, we must always do that, whether we believe in him or not.

Jesus is not helping you with any illness, he is part of the illness. You think he's a literal person interacting with you, whereas he is just a mythic figure from some religious book.

I believe if we truly commit our ways unto the Lord he will give us the strength to overcome, even in weakness.

@healmeholy The only reason i could find for us still suffering is this. "Not only so, but we also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us. " Romans 5:3-5

Suffering produces fruit in us when we perservere. I know it sucks but I suffer too a lot and i do notice it makes us stronger.

@healmeholy I know how you feel. I am SO sorry for the last response. God allows certain things to develop perserverance and character. Look at poor Apostle Paul with his thorn in the flesh. God would not remove it but he did promise that his "grace was sufficient" and that "Gods power is made perfect in weakness"! Take heart

Wow Praise God! I am so happy to hear this. As you know, I was also diagnosed as schizoaffective. I was hospitalized over 40 times and put on risperal, risperdal consta, haldol, etc. everything really. I am healed too. Bless you brother!

Notice how it says He heals "ALL our diseases!" So, whenever we hear a Christian say "well, if it's God's will, then He will heal you." That is a lie. It is always God's will to heal us. The problem is that , many times, it's not OUR will...or it takes us so much effort to heal that we get lazy and give up. I will never give up healing my wounds. Because "hurting ppl hurt ppl." And I want to be more whole, so I can be there for others who need me.

i have schizophrenia and i have suffered greatly. Years ago i tried to kill myself. 4 a time i was angry at God for my suffering. I can not explain all the mysteries of suffering but i can say from my heart,soul, and mind that there is nothing that God cant solve and that though we may suffer for a time and even more then once in our lives that it is the Lord that gives us strength to overcome our problems. Even the goodness we have of who we are comes from God.Jesus is the Son of God.HE LOVES U
