I'm not so convinced the powers that be are really so concerned about Iran developing a nuclear bomb. What worries them much more is Iran having depleted uranium left over from enrichment to convert into armour piercing ammunition.
They allready have kind of equipment. Don't forget, they do business with Russia and China. I'm sure they have a solid and very-well equipped fighting force. Plus, this country isn't divided like Afghanistan or Iraq. To underestimate your opponent is suicide...

Your right, Iran is not a threat. It has nothing to do with Nuclear Weapons, its all about seizing their OIL to be under EU control. Thats why we went to Afghanistan and Iraq. ITS ALL ABOUT CONTROL OF MIDDLE EASTERN OIL. This war will be different. Iran's infrastructure is much stronger then Iraq's and they have 11.7 million soldiers waiting for to our 170k in Iraq. We may win the air war, but once we hit the ground, it will be a blood bath unlike anything we have seen.
