Hopefully, the money will be TRULY disbursed for specific REAL projects. There are aproximately 8 million unemployed people. The Haitian people are not lazy. They can clean up the streets and start rebuilding. Brno22504 is correct in a sense. There are some import policies in regards to Haiti who had killed our agriculture. Namely, rice. The tariffs were lowered and consequently push the Haitian farmers out of business. Haiti can produce coffee, sugar, mango, rice, aluminum, gold etc...

he feels guilty for "free trade" policies he put in place that destroyed the agriculture, economy, and infrastructure of many third world countries ( Haiti was hit the worst by these policies because the usa government ;not the citizens; made the country so decentralized it had no power only private companies, publicly traded corparations, and NGOs were allowed to have any power in Haiti!
