Regardless of whether the teacher encouraged you to stay or not, the teacher only stated, according to you, that they would work with you - not pass you. In addition, you were in class and worked with a tutor, those would have been the appropriate times to address your inadequacies. The teacher's job is to present the course material, not to spoon feed you a passing grade. Your reasoning is unsound and unconvincing.

I had a 3.6 and I failed my intermediate algebra class TWICE (the grades for that class doesn't count toward GPA, thank GOD) and I took it a last third time. Such as symbolic logic which should waver a math requirement. Of course this is dependent on a few factors, such as school, degree plan, and deans willingness to precess information. i took this dumb ass lady called dr.wolf for my 97 class and everyone failed. i took dr.chowdhury for 97&98 and passed with Bs. then i took gutliph for college algebra. learning support is a bunch of bullshit. it backed me up cause i cant take any chem classes with LS, and it didnt even improve my math skills. the compass was just factoring, and i was good at that. the compass exam is built to make you fail, the exit exam was much easier and they shouldve used that as the entrance exam.
I'd take sucking a thousand dicks over repeating a college-level math course any day...

I know the feeling, Qaadir. I've failed the same math class 2 times, and its holding me back from finishing my degree. Its unfair when you have to study something that has no relevance to your degree. Keep going Qaadir, I've started at the lowest level classes too in math. You will make it, never give up. Take full charge when you know you need help.

@starvewars I think its interesting, many people metal-process doesnt reason with math. I'm sure there are other forms of math reasoning available.. Such as symbolic logic which should waver a math requirement. Of course this is dependent on a few factors, such as school, degree plan, and deans willingness to precess information. It never hurts to ask.

i took this dumb ass lady called dr.wolf for my 97 class and everyone failed. i took dr.chowdhury for 97&98 and passed with Bs. then i took gutliph for college algebra. learning support is a bunch of bullshit. it backed me up cause i cant take any chem classes with LS, and it didnt even improve my math skills. the compass was just factoring, and i was good at that. the compass exam is built to make you fail, the exit exam was much easier and they shouldve used that as the entrance exam.
