@Sky300 As long as you keep the turtles fed, they don't go after the fish, at least not the koi or that particular algae eater. Other algae eaters are too slow and will be prone to get eaten!
does your turtle dock sink when ig turtles get on it? mines do i have 2 red ear sliders and i have a 4 inch one with a small dock like that and when he get on it sinks... :? any suggestions?
@MegaAntKnot Well alot of people say that every inch your turtle is, you have to add 10 gallons to the tank. So if your turtle is 2 inches, you should get a 20 gallon tank. My turtle is 6 inches in a 20 gallon tank, and i have had the tank since i got him which he was way smaller when i got him. So i want a new tank. NOt a 60 tho because i think it is too much. I think a 40 or 50 gallon would be okay for my turtle
Great Tank !!! I really don't like the setup because when you have to clean your tank...all that rock's on bottom...they will give you a hard work....turtles are very messy...Your fish is very nice...but they will eat it =) 4 sure!
Yeah, I don't like rock at the bottom neither, I have none in my thank (go check my video of all my pet). When they grow up, you will need a bigger tank. But for now, it is a really cool setup!
lol nice turtule. i always wanted one but i only have one tank atm and have 4 oscars in it. they would prolly kill it. check out my videos. Nice tank set up btw

Can I keep 2: 1½ RES in a 10 Gallon tank?
NinjaBlood125 1 year ago
@NinjaBlood125 no, you need a minimum of 20 or 29 gallon tank you would be better off with a 40 gallon though because they will grow

I have 6 turtles in a 20 gallon tank but i want them to die cause they are so boring
beast326941 1 year ago
@beast326941 sell them to a pet store or give them away
megatron915 2 months ago
You need a 100+ gallon tank to house 4 RES.

How CUTE! Would a 40 gallon tank be oky for a turtle that is like 5 or 6 inches long
DBDshow12 1 year ago
@DBDshow12 -- a 40 gallon tank will be fine if you have a good filter.
zaphod7 1 year ago
@zaphod7 K thanks
DBDshow12 1 year ago
@zaphod7 No it wouldn't. These turtles love to swim, and a turtle 6 inches long does not have near enough space in a 40 gallon.
Yakuzagang5 6 months ago
@DBDshow12 no it wouldnt. you need 10 gallons minimum for every inch of shell

@11gearhead13 I don't have the tank anymore, but it looks very similar to a images.google.com search for 40 gallon tanks.

thanks! i saw your oscars - nice tank setup and fish. Painted turtles usually don't go after fish if you feed them enough!
