  • Looks a bit too shaky for the precise clicking needed in NWN, however the technology is awesome.

  • YAY NVN!! :D

  • @IwinUloseL0L Definitley! gotta love NWN1! You seen the Peace Pot Inn module?

    watch?v=U6Rge1adu88

Love the way that game is still going strong!

  • So if you already have your hand on the mouse anyway, WHY NOT USE THAT!?

  • GENIUS!!!

  • nothing says lazy when youre already playing video games and you just want to use your eyes....

  • cool idea...

    poor application.

  • if you click on a place you move there so hes not done anything lol

  • interesting, but the whole idea of "pushing" a button might has well still be incorporated with the whole system of the mouse.

The idea of blinking is somewhat weird, not allowed to blink if dont want to? Maybe... rofl it'll be funny, but maybe EYEBROWS!!! =D lol ~.~

  • Do you download it??

  • I don't think i'll be fucking with that anytime soon, until it's officially approved and went under years of testing - Because it looked like that eye tracker laser shit fucked up his eyes and body coordination. Look how he turns around in his char. Lmao.!

  • lets hope he is able to get some compensation from the company, cos he's clearly been totally fucked by that device.

    Poor fuck.

  • wtf ? 0:06

  • HAHAHAHAH the way he is turning is hilarious!

  • you GM???

  • Wow, very interesting indeed.

  • OMG a video of 2006 ^^

  • lol he looks back at the camera and hes cockeyed.

  • im prolly gonna need this when I get older and have busted up my hands entirely from too much masturbation and videogames

  • LOL

    I'll need one too!

  • Dammmm, my dick is sore! lol

  • if you look at the chest then click a button, you may as well just click instead of having to look at it... WASTE OF MONEY. It's probably not even there.

  • what the fuck are u saying man ... just click without looking at the chest ? then the mouse cursor will be in your ass ??

  • the time it takes to move the mouse there is the lightning fast, if you have to have your hand on the mouse theres no point.

  • u dont understand a shit, the eye control from what i see in this video its only for moving the cursor NOT ACTION CLICK IT .how the fuck do that laser know wen u want to click an object ??? it cant read your mind damn dumbass so u have to click the mouse after u pointed the cursor with your eye.But the fact remains that this tecnolohy its quite useless:Pand the problem its not the difference in velocity between the light and human reflex, but its u cant point in a direction and look in another

  • u are stupid, this is not useless, this is very useful. the action. ACTION KLICK CAN BE DETECTED WITH BLINKIN FOR EXAMPLE. You always look to the place where you klick anyways so I dont understand what your point is.

  • shut the fuck up .... are u retarded or what ?? if they use the blinkin to action click .. then u have to blink only wen u want to click an object or fire at an enemy ? : And the principal problem is still there ... ( u cant look at a different point that your pointing mouse and this is fatal at pro levels .. in shooting games). Now lets make your low brain understand too ( immagine a marine who have to point his gun everywhere he looks )

  • Ya blinking would be way awesome, but that also means for parts of the game where you are not supposed to click you must not blink, that will hurt my eyes

  • winking instead of clicking on the mouse would be much better and faster.

  • what if i want to look somewere and move the otherway? for example move the mous to an object but make sure the nothing moves around me?

  • Imagine this with counterstrike or call of duty :P

  • I think you can get easily tired with this eye tracker..

  • you still have to click a button! that makes the whole thing unnecessary! could as well just use a mouse. . .

eye tracker = unnecessary overkill tech. .

  • IF you couldnt click by blinking, which you can with "most" of these systems.

  • I WANT IT!

  • SWEET!

  • Well maybe one day it will be good, but the mouse pointer shakes too much i think

  • My thoughts EXACTLY. I was like "Man! That might eventually be great technology." and then when I read your comment I was like "Yes! THAT is what I /also/ think to be true."

  • I think that there is no real reson for the eyetraker in that kind of game. The mouse dosent shake that bad when you use the mouse, that you still need to click with the eyetraker. Cool idea but not practicall. Now the Quake video of this is somewhat practical because you dont need the mouse to fire, just reconfig your keybord. But no, not for NWN, somewhat stupid idea.

  • that's all about new techs; like Windows Vista... when it was launched, it was a big shit, now it's a smaller one LOL :D

  • @IamWeasel666 It only shakes cos your eye does naturally, is constantly trembling, I asked my friend once about it, he told me that there was a research (later experiment) done, to stop the eye tremble, so they poured some sort of liquid into human eye then the person replied that he gone blind, then after the liquid worn of the person regained his vision.

  • I think it would be awesome for strategic games .. You just use the keyboard and your eyes! Maybe you would be able to bigger amount of commands that way- pointing where the units need to go with an blink of an eye

  • I think people are oblivious to the implications this has for people who are unable to manipulate input devices. Sure you have to click, but a click could be produced using a device located inside one's jaw if necessary.

    It's ingenious.

  • Left and right click by blinking left or right would make it complete I guess. So....how steady do you remain in that seat to not get tracking loss?

  • I can see where rapid eye movement might mess this up when fighting stuff, I see this only as a bonus to people with carpel tunnel syndrome :P

  • This is pure tech demo. Geez.

  • I agree with Davin. Believe it or not, there are some things that are invented purely to see if it can be done, not for any practical purpose. And, just cause its fun.

  • awesome

  • What's the use when you still have to grab the mouse and press the button?

  • its cool but it didnt look very stable at all it was all shaky and that would get annoying if you used it in videos ... Ive seen the table top one that is voice activated so you literaly "talk" to your units then you touch where you want them to move, now thats handy. Was used for an RTS though

  • too bad you cant just doubble take at the item or spot and he goes... but interesting. hows it done?!

  • thats handy!

  • Meh, the brainwave technology is better.

  • doesnt look very stable...

  • Cool. I bet this will be added to the list of ideas on what to do in motion sensor technology in next gen game consoles after these. I noticed however that just like a normal eye, the curors gets a little twitchy over the screen. Looks like it needs fine tuning of course.

  • pretty cool!

  • That's hella cool. But now it makes people more lazy, but it's still cool

  • Wow! Now we can finely play Neverwinter Nights while masturbating!

  • HELL YEAH! xD

  • YES! even though i was getting good at it with my left hand >.> yes!

  • ...

  • OMG SOOO COOOL

  • dude only noobies need to know that that is like nothing lmao but its really cool :P

  • Pretty cool!

    TODO:

    Make the camera register eye-clicking

blink left eye for left mouse key

blink right eye for right mouse key

  • YEAH! That's what I was thinking. Then we'd all become blinkers and spend our lives sitting on chairs, blinking and twitching our heads like androids.

  • dude now that would be awesome

  • damn tinker gnomes!!

  • hmmm....useful thing here

  • lol u can do that with having two mouse

  • lol it's completely useless, but it is really cool XD

  • lol it's not useless, what if you're paralysed? idiot.

  • No, you still have to click a button. Paralyzed people can't click buttons.

  • Virtually no-one is literally totally paralysed, all you need is a few working nerves somewhere and you can use them to relay clicks. And that wasn't really my point in the first place; all I meant was that it's not useless.

  • heh, fair enough.

  • Uhh, Im not seeing anything with the eye thing here. Seeing as you click your mouse to move, and you click on chests to open them in NWN. GG Noob :)

  • You're an idiot...

  • He's clicking the mouse, but is he moving it? ;)

  • I agree, you still have to click to interact with the game..

  • ...pretty cool
