Please check out my tutorial! It is easier than this to change hair, eye, skin, nails, whatever you want!! Its faster and probably the most easiest way!! I promise!!
i think it's better to not mark around the hair cause in this pic it might be easy but when u have a picture of curly hair or something it just won't work cause u can't mark around every single hair ! in my opinion it's better to just create a new layer set the mode to overlay use your color and then just paint over the skin with a fuzzy brush :D much more realistic and WAY easier :D
Why does everyone always forget to feather the selection? -_- it always looks fake with really hard edges if you don't feather your selection, like every video i see with changing hair color or eyecolor never feather the selection -_- it bothers me but w/e...
you just need to use: path tool, outline the hair then click from path, then the bucket tool OR colour balance and mess around with the colours BUT USE SOFT LIGHT OR IT LOOKS FAKE. if your doing the bucket one choose a LOW opacity and if you think the colour is not strong enough, CLICK ON THE HAIR AGAIN SO IT LOOKS BETTER. this wasn't a good. i would do my own but i dunno how to record on the screen... can someone tell me please?
what i use is i do the path thingy then i select it all and right click on it and press the color thing. and then colorize and just mess around with that to my desired hair color. but that's just a tip. try it see if it works. i find it much easier.
