  • The master of SIMS 4 sure!

  • He was quality.

  • jeff was a brilliant skater of hes time 4 sure no question from anyone ok.

  • A big pwerfull concrete skater who inspired , craig johson, monty nolder, big ben shcroder, ross godman etc, legend JP.

  • A big pwerfull concrete skater who inspired , craig johson, monty nolder, big ben shcroder, ross godman etc, RIP legend JP.

  • Do Rocco & Mullen now regret taking Jeffs only world away from him sending him into a low period!

  • whyed it get demolished

  • I think Phillips epitomized real 80's vert.

In those days Hawk was already the Mullen of his particular medium, but compared to Groholski, Phillips, Losi, Miller, even Gator, et al, he was kind of... aah.... elegant. Take that word as you will.

    Satisfying to watch, mind you.

  • @rebusd what you are trying to say is= wimpy -girly robot- the rest of them ripped, i have been there with them, do remember losi in amsterdam, also little don hilsman? fkn great times

  • "come on Will one more bong hit", said Jeff over and over...

  • jeff is god!

  • this is the famoous keyhole ,right?

  • It is the famous key hole in del mar.

  • Rest in Peace

  • I MET JEFF IN 1988

  • what up? didn't jeff kill himself or some shit? in 93?

  • my first pro board in 1985 was a sims jp. learned on cheap kmart "ninja" board before that. first day out on it on the galveston seawall. 11 years old. vision street wear beret. those were the dayz. some dude asked me if i could do a handplant.

  • Love this old footage, especially from Del Mar. I am sorry I missed out on skating there. This is what I remember skateboarding to be.

  • what ever happened to del mar? is it still there?

  • i love how does boneless into ramps that shits awesome

  • Making the Keyhole look like a 5ft. deep bird-feeder!

  • I remember sitting in Jeff's living room watching this video with Craig Johnson and laughing about how Jeff skated The DelMar Key hole pool like it was the Clown Ramp. Great times.

  • I learned to pump on the clown ramp. ;)

  • Hey Cam, Jeff always spoke highly of you. Hope Mark and Lyle are well.

  • not badd

  • God bless Jeff!!!!

  • Jeff does flips Phillips was THE most influential of all the pros i skated with and around. the guy destroyed the ramp and his park alllll day. then after closing he'd rip the vert ramp barefoot,no pads-still doin over head frontside ollies that would clear 4 lanes of ply---dude had big ol brass ones. he was a killer guy all around and i was proud to call him friend, skating or not.

  • Cool man..thats a rad story. RIP JP

  • Ahhh good old school skateboarding

  • Had this on video. HAD is the word. Exgirlfriend lost the video. Still havent forgiven her.

  • god save the phillip66!!!!

  • The f-side boneless at :26 is classic Phillips... HUGE! The other thing about Jeff is knowing that, if he pulls anything-to-fakie near the end of the run, he's setting up the Phillips 66. In this case, despite sketching the backside air-to-fakie, he still scratches out the 66. Gotta love another Phillips specialty... the f-side bone-in at :48. He was an awesome skater and an awesome friend.

  • What was the jeff phillips 66?

  • The trick at :56.

  • frontside elguerial.. =.. fakie 360 f/s handplant

  • Heard a lot about Jeff, he had great style.

  • always great.

  • Freaking amazing!!!!

  • beast

  • I was lucky enough to meet him on a UK tour in the early 90s?

Boneless into the pool! We used to call that a "Jeff Max"...

  • JP still rules

  • yeahhhhh alvaro!!! jphillips still rippn on heaven!!

  • Timeless style. Still great to watch. R.I.P Jeff.

  • RIP. I own his signature pro model board from 85 till know. He and Lester Kasai from Sims charged me in the HP in Münster , Germany.
