It can take much more than light rain. I've used it in downpours and snow storms and it just keeps asking for more. Those water proof housings are if you wanna scuba dive with your camera. Why do you think they're 3000+ dollars :x
@daliaalameen It holds up to moisture and rain quite well. I've had it down in Guatemala during the rainy season and actually shot in some light rain and it did very well, no problems. Of course I wouldn't have it out in a downpour but of course use common sense when shooting in these elements. They do make waterproof housings for these cameras for a reason.
Tons of pro's use it, especially for weddings. Yervant uses one. He's the top 1 or 2 wedding photographers on earth. Yes, it's a pro body. But I know what David is saying. David does some serious amazing work. I'm located almost down the street from him. He's top shelf.
@charld It's a simplified custom rig just using RR's rails, follow focus, DSLR mount, baseplate mount, and grips handles. It's a variation of the "Captain Stubbling" rig
What is considered the best camera?

How is the buffer memory? Does it fill up fast so you have to wait before continuing to shoot?
My D7000 fills up rather fast, especially when using bracketing mode.
