  • omg i go to vail every year

  • You will soon start to ollie over small children...

  • Nice Work Buddy !

  • I went snowboarding for the 3rd time this christmas and finally did some jumps, it was good coz I went from doing a tiny kicker to convincing myself to try a 3 foot high launch over a 6 foot gap to a big steep bank, couldnt manage to get enough speed to clear the whole flat part at the top coz the run up was pretty icy but I try jumps now which is good! I never ollied though, I thought u cud just jump and bring ur legs up if ur going fast?

  • @djdiscomikki hey dude, welcome, to answer your question, yeah, i guess you can do that, but once you perfect the ollie you will realize why its necessary, it really opens a lot of doors.

  • tanks for those good tips

  • i thonk since i skateeboard this should be easy to adpt right?

  • No, if you use this technique on a skateboard you will fall onto your face.

  • i skate and snowboard, completly different although apparently you can tell if a snowboarder skates because of the there style, not a bad thing though.

  • @MUDandSNOW Yeah that's true. I tired skating once but I don't like it. Snowboarding is more for me. Plus falling on concrete doesn't make me any less nervous about doing it.

  • is this guy goofy or regular?

  • the guy doing the demo's is regular.

  • Ollie truly is the key thing for snowboarding freestyle, you can't do shit without being able to do that. And lucky thing is, the snowboard ollie is ten times easier than the same so called on a skateboard, it may take one year to get used to do it for the sk8ers

  • r u fukin kidding me?

it takes 2 weeks to learn the ollie not a year. Most skaters can do heaps of advanced flip tricks by then

  • 2 weeks haha

  • i dont think you skate. you couldnt be more wrong dude.

  • wrong

  • do ollies really improve jumps alot? cuz i have never ollied when i have jumped. my grinds and jumps work out ok...

  • very useful skill

  • it's so easy! on my first i did it

  • The hard part is not doing it in low speed or when you are not moving. Or even when you are "ready". The hard thing is to do it when you're ridding fast and suddenfly NEED to do it in order to save your ass from getting down...

  • ok but when your on speed you can just jump and don't do an ollie

  • depends on the height. Anyway, snowboard has many more difficult tricks, but ollies are important. :-)

  • i understand

  • snowboarding is fun

    dam im soo random!!!

  • what thous that hev to do with this?

  • im used to a sk8 board ollie are the any thing similar?

  • dont be scared about that, ollie is very easy, you should try it after about 4 days on the board but only if you are felling save on your board, just try =) snow is much softer than a street (skateboarding)

sorry for that english, im german

  • haha this is my third year and i still haven't tried a jump!

  • go for it man, i pretty much just started this year and have tried lots of boxes and jumps. i don necessarily advise that got bruises and near concussions to prove that, but moxralle is right, snow's pretty soft

  • dang that crazy i'm scared to try

  • nice i will try that this winter! i am new at snowboarding i have been doing it for like 2 years and i have done like 2 rails haha <3

  • olie
