Is recording on the Archos TV+ easy i am looking for reviews on how to use it cause i am wanting to get this to record my games as well. Is it user friendly basically and easy to transfer files to a computer as well.
@rsoria1978 It's pretty easy once setup properly, files are recorded in AVI format and can be uploaded direct to Youtube (like mine here) or edited first. It doesnt accept HD inputs so you will need to play at 480p max, but does passthrough 480p using component cables so the quality is not too bad, I would recommend component over the cables it comes with. 80 or 250GB model is plenty of space too, I've recorded 3hrs in one go without any problems.
@rsoria1978 - Well i got my archos tv+ i got another question now - I got my connect component 480p and component output but on the record screen i get a split image and it doesn't record right or can't i record in that mode, how do you have your's connected - i tried regular r/w/y instead and it worked fine. is there someother setting i need to change to get component to work or is r/w/y the only connection i can play and record.
I have the xbox set to SD mode not HD, component going into the tv+ and component going to the tv. Not 100% ssure of the settings in TV+ but i had to adjust them aswell.
