  • Shagje year was this?

  • it is fucking amazing

  • JP was Sham 69, how can they be the same band without him?! He is a total original, it'd be like the Sex Pistols or the Clash without their main man. No point!

  • this is TOTP, Which means this is pre-recorded.

  • Top Choice! I wonder what that bleeder Giggles would think of this?

  • dave is the only good thing in the band .

  • @giggie You mean that sod who went heavy metal? This is Top Of The Pops mate not some WFMU

  • @giggie That Jimmy Pursey ya silly git not WLIR

  • Probably the best street punk band ever! The main man had charisma - you can't take your eyes off him. And excellent lyrics.Total respect to him! How can the band carry on without him. It's him or nothing! Can you imagine the Sex Pistols without John Lydon or the Clash without Joe Strummer. No way!

  • lol,what a hair cut,wanker

  • ha ha,pursey went on his snot during the guitar solo, what a poser dick head

  • PHONEY PURSEY.

  • I'd forgotten how cringeworthy Pursey was, I always felt a bit sorry for the rest of the band having to put up with that mockney mouth running away at the front of the band.

  • punks and skins unite and win

  • fucking awful gear felt my jaytex shrinking when i saw the new roman thick gear.ridiculous.good song though.that was before jimmy discovered performance art,or was it arse.gerryskindublin1969

  • Childish lyrics, and I even bought it !.....Crap drumming makes it a real plodder... :(

  • okies never a proper punk band but thats life was a great concept album

  • the worst thing i have ever witnessed ... although.... i love when he slips at 1:44

  • Comic book 'punks',still......they were o k.

Hersham Boys ,is a fucking great 'rock'album.

  • thats a sick jacket hes wearing

  • funny, but when you look at the totp website it says the only band to refuse to do the show was led zeppellin, how soon they forget the clash

  • Yes in the last few years of it's life they switched to live.

  • thats good to know. wish that had been the case when sham was playing.

  • best song by sham 69,bloody amazing

  • best band ever jimmy is your leader sham army

  • Great memories!

Coming home from school, to find my mum vacuuming my bedroom whilst playing this on my record player full blast!

  • Are you serious??? Sounds like you have an incredible mum. My mum kicked me out of the house when I was 16 for singing "I'm so bored with the USA"..by the Clash...

  • Aaah, my mum is exceptional! She is totally in tune with all music. I've taken her to see Shirley Bassey in Blackpool and she took me to see the Sex Pistols in Huddersfield! The Clash happen to be her favourite band!

  • That is the coolest. I wish my mom would have been that way. The Clash were the greatest!

  • Laughed my arse off at Pursey falling down half way thru that. Pity he's sold out, sold his soul and that of all his punk fans by selliing the rights to the Labour Party for their conference allowing them to use the song If The Kids Are United, and even changed the words to include Blair and Brown when he sang it on newsnight, Uggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh !
