  • Damn that a ugly ass speedo compared to the xr6 fuck holden

  • @OvercookedBaconPS3 go watch a ford speedo then if your only here for the speedo then u must be a real fuck wit

  • Nice, still wouldn't trade my falcon ute for one though :-)

  • TUFF.

  • @wildareel SHIT.

  • EcoLPI falcons are now faster :P haha

  • @limtedouche there .3 second slower then the current falcon 6...

  • Why the fuck are cunts comparing n/a to forced engines fucking hell fan girls can't help themselves.

  • toyota aurion - 6 seconds

  • @Int3rvent1on Supercharged? lol

  • @pwns1 Um...no. Its fully stock. Puts your Sv6 to shame =)

  • @Int3rvent1on No, a trd aurion pulls decent numbers, trd comes with a supercharger stock. The other aurions aren't very fast at all.

  • @pwns1 Nope, go check the videos. 7.5 seconds is shit for a V6 of this power.

  • @Int3rvent1on You might be looking at a vz sv6 or something, pre-sidi sv6s aren't that fast. the Sidi sv6 is definitely 6.3, my dad just bought a brand new one and official time is 6.3, and i can easily tell it's 6.3 because i know what a 7.5 car feels like LOL

  • @pwns1 but isnt this SIDI? yeha i know the SIDI ones pack a 210kw V6 vs the 195kw in the pre-SIDIs. I reckon both the aurion and VZ could be faster without traction control

  • @Int3rvent1on Yeah it is look at title, and it did do a slow 0-100, but its in drive not sports shift and traction control was turned on, still did 6.8ish seconds haha. Yeah vz sv6 trac off could beat it, so could aurion.

  • @pwns1 fuck turn off T/C and use sports shift, post a video, itll be fuckin awesome :)

  • can u tell me why ur gear changes at 55 km/h where as in other vids of sv6s its around 75 ish.. :) thx

  • @Thebmwisthebest this was an auto, other vids might be manual?

  • @DethrowDestruction ohh wait they were auto but were doing manual shifting using the tiptronic woops, thx mate :)

  • @Thebmwisthebest Because this ute has the SIDI V6 which was introduced in 2010 and with the new engine also came a new 6 speed sports automatic. Old alloytec SV6 had a 5-speed auto.

  • VE Omegas and Berlinas seem catastrophically slow, but the SV6s really hammer. I've got a VZ Acclaim Alloytec 175 and its quicker than VE Omega. If I was going to get a VE with V6 I'd deffinetly go for SV6 SIDI.

  • where is the t/c button? i just bought myself the 2011 sv6 ute but completely forgot about it, w8n for pick still, cant w8!!

  • why do aussie fan boys always crap on about 0-100 etc and base their purchase on that shit? who fucking cares. this is a fucking quick car, i have an SV6 Sportwagon Sidi. it is a very fast car. whoopdy fucking do it cant do quarter mile drags as fast as a ford. where in australia are you legally gonna do 0-100? stop on the freeway and go there? for what? the bragging rights to your mates? fucking sick lad.

  • @wue2117 Thank you very fucking much! Well summed up haha :)

  • "Done in Drive, not sports shift. Traction Control On. Full tank of premium. Done on a humid warm day high 20's. 19 inch rims." Got any more excuses? Developed a misfire? haha.

  • That is not really that impressive

  • i got 7.25 seconds

  • BA XR6 Ute Auto N/A does it in just under 6 with less power, slow Holden.

  • thats really impressive and it sounds ace, at the lights against the same car but with a 6.0l V8 how much would be in it?

  • Definately not a mid 14 second car ve ssv's are doing low to mid 14's over here in nz and they are stock and I timed it as a mid 7 if you believe that a g tech timer is accurate you are sadly mistaken they run off the ciggarette lighter ffs and are so badly calibrated it's not funny the nz autocar magazine got a 7.6 second to 100 km/h time from 3 tests and the speedo was out by 4 km's so it would have been closer to 8 seconds and they use actual testing equipment not inaccurate g tech timers lol

  • @Deano86t hate to tell you mate my stock VE SV6 manual SIDI has done a 14.3 STOCK !! other than CAI

  • Mate thats impossible. I have a 3.5l manual magna with a couple mods and pulled half a car length on him in 3rd gear he had an exhaust my magnas done a 14.6 quater mile.

  • Like watching my old V8 in action! Pretty impressive.

  • good vid mate

  • @BAwithBALLS noone is trying to prove anything, this is a video put up to show some fellow forum users 0-100. and FYI, it is a 14.6 second car without any mods. accept it or not, it is a fact. search it up. I think i'm a little too old for this shit though,, so if you want to do the whole ford vs holden garbage then go ahead. as i said to another user on youtube, a good car is a car no matter what make.

  • @sv6sidiute where are these 1/4 mile videos of it doing 14.6??. im not saying it doesnt do it. but no ones done a video and the specs dont really match up. id be impressed if it did..

  • @parabpbpbp in street commodores I have posted up my time slips. I have done a 14.3 and as i said below its stock

  • @VNFormula yeah, CAI doesnt make it stock. last time i went to the creek the sidi there was running high 14s and 15 flat. auto. 14.3 is pretty good tho, wat mph?

  • @parabpbpbp basicly stock lol MPH 97.50 60ft 2.153

  • @sv6sidiute I agree but it is desturbing tho that its not that much ahead of an ED XR6 if it is at all. Just interesting that a 17 year old car keeps up with the brand new SV6.....that being said it does that with the non turbo XR6s to. As far as holden V6s go tho given the past.....its quick.

  • @sv6sidiute so its = to a auto ve ss thats not bad

  • Guess what look at the latest wheels magazine the SIDI manual pulled a 15.1. Lol they go alright though.

  • @BAwithBALLS lol fords need nissan to help design the ford i6 have you seen how much bigger a ford 6 is out of a car they fucking huge peices of crap holden v6s are so tiny

  • @holdenrulz mate seriously, ford have one of the best inline 6's available today, yes they are alot bigger than the V6 commodore motor but they are also alot more powerful and alot more capable of massive horsepower,V6's are gutless as fuck and have no torque what so ever, even the aurion romp's commonwhores lol

  • @BAwithBALLS lol i had a vs and i keept up with him and an au xr6 the reason ford have more torque is cause its inline 6 longer stroke than the v6 u will see when the ford v6 comes out

  • @BAwithBALLS the issue with the ford is it uses rear leaf springs so on a track the holden is faster in this day and age a sports ute should not have leaf springs.

  • @nachospole1 a leaf sprung rear that doesnt carry anymore in the rear then a ss and fpv use this same shit set up and all it does is make you laugh cause its not looking to carry a tradies work more for show and its carrying capacity is hopeless like the hsv payloads very small

  • @BAwithBALLS

And the Ford G6E 4.0 is only a tenth of second quicker than this down the 1/4..

    Ford 4.0 auto 0-100km/h 7.3 0-400m 15.3

    VE 3.6 auto SIDI 0-100km/h 7.4 0-400m 15.4 ...

What are you trying to prove???

Can you honestly notice a tenth of a second difference??

    I don't think so!!!

These times are not pulled out of a hat, they are officially independent test's...

since your such a Ford ONLY guy how do you feel that a TOYOTA Aurion 6 auto does 0-100kmh in 6.8 0-400m 14.8??

  • @RAJSTA81 yeah the aurion aint to foul at all bud but how do you (being a toyota tool ONLY lmao) feel about the FG F6 running 12.5 and 0-100 in 4.4 seconds

  • @BAwithBALLS

Calm down big boy... i am not here to bitch about whats better or put anyone down..I am neutral about whats sold in Australia, each has they own quality that the other may not have ( as long as its not Korean and Chinese built cars).

    12.5 4.4??

Yeah thats an awesome time but unfortunately not the real times!

    2010 F6 310kw Manuel 0 - 100km/h 5.4... 1/4 mile 13.5.

    2010 F6 310kw Auto 0 - 100km/h 5.2... 1/4 mile 13.3.

    Yes, the Auto was quicker!

    Again, independently tested!

  • @RAJSTA81 your times are from motor magazine or something obviously the BF XR6T ran 13.5 for starters and the BF F6 done like 13.1-13.3,everyone knows that the FG F6 is a mid 12 second car, believe the consumers not the journos who tell the public LIES!

  • @BAwithBALLS Who cares if your ford is faster? There's lots of cars faster than your ford. Personally, having is car ( Not some china shit boxes) will do most fine. Many won't feel the 0.3 second difference unless you're using a laser guided speed camera. Holden VS Ford competition is just a load of utter crap.

  • @BAwithBALLS dude you could alwasy mode this car and also if we want to spend the money we can get the maloo and thats the fastest ust 0 to 100 in less then 5 sec. The fact is when it comes to handling i would rather be in this because the ford has leaf springs and im not being a fan boy cause i love the focus rs but preffer the ve utes over the falcons.

  • @nachospole1 Yeah ford utes still have leaf springs but, have you watched NZ v8 utes or an Australian equivalent. Stock utes ford/holden are used in the NZ series, and ford is thrashing the competition. Everyone that races in the series all say that the ford utes out performs holdens every where except on the straights. That big chevy gets into stride when the road stops moving around!!! I admit I haven't driven a VE ute but, NZ V8 ute series says it all if you want to compare handling!!!

  • @dohceb01 Modifications are made to the ute's before racing. If you get a bran new redline SS ute and a bran new XR8 ute the Holden will be about 3-4 seconds in front of the XR8 on a 2 minute lap time. It's the same story with the sedan variants. Not many people know this but an E3 GTS will out perform a BMW M5, M3 and IS-F on a race track! The VE chassis has been tried and proven to keep up with the best from Europe and any other country by many car reviewers/youtube channels.

  • @danoconnell427 Honestly I dont really care. I would put my old EB up against these utes anyday. Like I say to anyone that wants to preech holden...... until their v8's have a holden badge again....its FORD FORD FORD ALL DAY. Maybe Im wrong about the mods? Fujitsu motorsport must be lying to me haha. as I say, ford cleans up on race day for NZ v8 utes and blah blah blahhh

  • @dohceb01 Haha, I haven't heard your excuse for not buying a Holden over a Ford before... Some people like Holden's and some people like Fords, they are both fantastic cars.

  • @danoconnell427 Fair comment. each to their own....

  • very nice to 60 mile in 7 Seconds ...i have one like your car `08 but with 240 hp not SIDI ... 0 to 60 in less than 7 Seconds but with program and intake K&N

and shifting on 6200-6600 becuse the stock cant even reach 6000 rpm...Does the vehicle programmed or its on stock program ? and what kind of exhaust you have magnaflow or x-forse ?

  • @FOFO9820 Hmm..car is completely stock there. Only rear mufflers swapped out. Getting Di FIlippo complete system engineered and fitted within next few weeks.

  • @sv6sidiute Deffs need a video up here of the new exhaust set up!

  • It sure as hell looks a lot quicker than my lightly modified old VR Ute. I'm so glad they're putting a 6spd in these buggers now, as you won't lose out on ratios so much. I'm still a manual transmission guy though LOL.

  • i counted 6.4 - 6.5 on that run.....fantastic

takes off at 5.5 seconds then hits 100 at 12 seconds

  • At about 7.5 seconds 0-100 it's about right for one of these.

  • @Redblower Not meaning to brag, but 6.4 0-100 official 0-100 time. I've taken the g-tech timer and it too confirmed 6.46. When I get a chance I'll do the recording of the timer if you have any doubts.

  • @sv6sidiute No need mate, congratulations, very impressive.

  • @Redblower 6.3 seconds*

  • @sv6sidiute its a 4 speed auto with sport mode off? with sports mode on its maybe 2 ks faster? did u get much of a boost from the exhaust? have you done any other mods yet?

  • @lianapinner nah not yet, waiting for some pacemaker extractors to come out.. there are only hurricanes available at the moment for the sidi 3.6...not too keen on those

  • @lianapinner oh and in regards to "gains" from muffler swapnot really. it "seems" a bit more responsive, but it's most likely my head playing tricks on me :) it was more for a nice solid note, which i did get.

  • @lianapinner hasnt been a 4 speed since the 2003 VY. with the introduction of alloytec came 5 speed auto for sv6, and 6 speed for this sidi.

  • @TheMrAshrine umm i think you need to do some research mate. the vzs where all 4s besides the sv6 most v6 ve where also 4 speeds. the new sidi motor introduced the 6 speed auto across all v6 models

  • Can't decide between manual and auto:-(

I intend to supercharge it when I finally get off my Ps, and it would be easier to modify the manual to handle the extra power and torque.

Hmm, but an auto would be lovely and comfortable.

  • @adil2552 supercharging :) if you do let me know how you go.. apparently there are some compression issues that may be a problem... from what i've heard they are too high for forced induction (I'm not too knowledgeable when it comes to engines)....BUT where there is a will there is a way :)

i drive an awful lot so auto is a must for me. it gears down quit eagerly so it isn't a big loss as compared to manual. still fun, but a big gain in as you say driving comfort.

  • dont get me wrong love the car. i have an 07 ve omega and i can 77 out of first gear?

  • @lianapinner this is a 6 speed auto compared to 07 omega which is 4 speed auto or 5 speed manual( it is 5 speed isn't it?) in sports shift it stretches them out a little bit more, but i find it unnecessary as it goes to 6500rpm in normal auto. :)

  • Hey what sort of exchange did you do with the rear mufflers?

  • @bender123ification replaced the stock cannon mufflers with 3 inch tip quads, very simple bolt on. you can do it yourself in about 20 minutes, and sounds hell of a lot better. you can see them in the other clip :)

  • @sv6sidiute Thanks, that sounds top mate, great addition to represent the SV6's true ability, it's a great car :)

  • Hey what sort of exchange did you do with the rear mufflers?

  • Arghh, sorry about those reposts, I'm not used to the new youtube layout yet >..

  • Nice and quick! Thanks for the upload was waiting for this. As far as I know there are 2 models of the SIDI isn't there? 3.0L and 3.6L rated at 190KW and 210KW. Which one do you own?

I am more of a Ford guy, but you just can't look away from those power figures! :P Do you think Holden will release Dual Fuel variants of their new SIDI engines or is that not possible?

  • Comment removed

  • Bout time someone put a video up of a SIDI V6 Holden, I have driven a few and they are pretty impressive I will admit

  • @mikey380sx yeah i will be chucking a few more vids on here. As i mentioned to Lak1987 in PM (youtube wasn't letting me place comments at the time) I will be doing some work to it as time goes on (whenever the upgrades become available) and will be posting vids as I go along. Getting G-Tech Pro timer this week to get some figures available too. Hopefully next is the extractors and the cold air intake, and a tune if those fellas at VCM suite ever get one released.... so stay tuned. :)

    cheers.

  • @sv6sidiute Sweet man I look forward to seeing how it progresses. My folks had a VZ acclaim which I know have which had the original alloytec...although I am fairly disappointed with them these new sidi's are really something worth looking at. I'd have to get the manual box however, seems a bit faster than the Auto I have driven
