I wonder if that type of fat joking ever got to Lisa Ruddy? This isn't like when u play a seperate character, they were playing a scripted version of themselves.

It's no different than Jason Alexander being the subject of Bald, short, fat jokes on Seinfeld. They get paid for it. If you can't laugh at yourself, you shouldn't be in comedy.

And yes I always hated the fat jokes even when I saw this as a kid. I know it was all a joke but I am sure Lisa hurt underneath.
