thanks for the post...i have been looking for what i learned now was "the mandolin serenade "for years....i watched the movie years ago and the theme got stuck in my mind......great tune...also just realised that the main theme of "moonstruck" very strongly resembles it..."charlie" was indeed a genius......great movies and great tunes...makes us "smile"..

Agreed - something in that first tune is very much like the (later) "La Vie en Rose" CC wrote some great tunes!
