I know what you're talking about, but iranian is mainly a branch of european race. This game of words is due to renaming Persia to Iran and now there have to be two words - one to describe ethnic iranian (iranic, as yo usay) and another to describe citizen of Iran. I accept only one thing - iranian is origin. You can find armenians in Bulgaria, for example, but even called bulgarian, he's still armenian of origin.
