But, if in general the word "SCUM" is a window into his own perception of people of color... well than Amanpour's question would've have paved the way for us to learn about what he thinks... how he perceives. @ygreciano The question is not stupid at all. Sarkozy was bothered by the mention of the riots that started in 2005 after one racist statement he did (even though he wasn't president yet).. He called the young boys from poor neighborhoods the scum ("racaille")... The fact that a majority of the people in these neighborhoods are african imigrants (both Arabic and sub-saharian) does have a big influence on the matter...
Therefore the french riots are somehow comparable to the american ones...

What an idiot this gagothesith is, she thinks there were no airstrikes in Iraq after the invasion??? Everybody knows there were thousands of airstrikes on Iraq after the invasion. Buildings were flattened and and many civilian lives were lost. Anyone who googles "Iraq airstrikes" will tell you this. Very funny how people try to correct others, yet don't know any facts themselves.
