  • Omv you are pro kid

  • fucking lame crowd

  • YES! He did it again!!!

Where can I find the mp3 version? This is sooooo coool!

  • Who let Sly Cooper on stage? But really, it's hard to make a good Daft Punk remix. He does it swimmingly.

  • Nice, I don't see why people are hating. This guy is pro.

  • @KyonshiiTheWicked definite pro

  • Love it

  • he's not a DJ he's a producer/composer/mixer

  • @djteq9 and a shaman too!

  • What exactly is he doing by clicking those buttons?

  • @camreeno360 Wasting your time.

  • "Despite the fact that he was formally trained on double bass and bass clarinet, had studied jazz at USC, and could play additional instruments such as the guitar and accordion, Daedelus chose to go the electronica route, often incorporating samples from the '30s and '40s into his IDM and left-field hip-hop." -AllMusic

  • LEAVE DAEDELUS ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I thought that was cool 0.0

  • what a boring crowd...

  • @withextremeprejudice if you think this "push button bullshit" doesn't take talent lets see u program all the different sounds into it and memorize what each button does well enough to play in stage in front of a crowd

  • @dizzyj99 I wouldn't waste my time.

  • ive been learning DJing Im never going to be as good as this dude!

  • if it sounds good, who farkin cares

  • It is a matter of taste

How dare you discussing which taste is better and which one is not?

  • @WithExtremePrejudice I would sincerely enjoy to see you do what he does. You go purchase a monome, a mac, and get yourself all of the equipment he got, and than once you do, even attempt to do what Alfred does. You can't. That right there PROVES that he is better than you.

  • @JermLuffsYooh Sorry to disappoint you, but I don't need to purchase pointless equipment like this because I have no desire to produce music based on sampling the music of others, because it's not worth doing.

  • MAKINAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • #daedelus's thinning fringe

  • that guy has some epic sideburns

  • DRUGS makes release your inner music D:

    you can feel the music.

and don'T think i 'm said daedelus use drugs

daedelus is awesome withouth drugs too : )

  • @Hyper6664 Daedelus isn't good at all.

  • @WithExtremePrejudice you again?

  • @Hyper6664 true you dont need them to listen to Daedelus the music is that awesome

  • This is the problem with music nowadays -- it takes no talent or skill to produce with these new machines. What a joke. Yeah, I can stand there and just push a bunch of buttons, too. This is why new music is going down the toilet, and you idiots just keep eating it up like the sheep you are.

  • @WithExtremePrejudice You're a retard. It's not just pressing buttons. It is making an experimental version of something new. You do what Alfred has done, and than we will talk.

  • @JermLuffsYooh You're a fool. Some day, when you're older, you'll realize just how foolish you are for thinking that this is music or that it requires talent. True musicians don't use this push-button bullshit.

  • @WithExtremePrejudice To the dot. We live in era of button musicians, two-chords guitarists and autotuned singers.

  • @FaulFerkel If you would actually sit and think about it before you speak. You'd realize the button doesn't just make a song on a click. It's like the drums you have to experiment with the different sounds of each individual instrument(buttons in this case) to make the perfect beat.

  • @HYSM90s I know all the phase of sampling music in such way, i've worked with sequencers from FastTracker, eJay to Cubase and Logic. I know how he had to program all buttons at home, cutting and automating several pieces of this "song". But it's not a musician work, more like a Disc Jockey, who plays another's music. Most DJs are invisible at their turntables, only these epileptic performers are in the spotlight.

  • Comment removed

  • @FaulFerkel Damn straight. What happened to the days of songs where there were hundreds of chords? The more chords a song has, the more objectively better it is.

  • @WithExtremePrejudice You aren't with it any more are you, awwww

  • @WithExtremePrejudice yeah it b*********y well does take skill its not just pushing buttons its all linked in and preplanned the guy is a genius he's planned it all hes created all this awesome music and its programmed to go through the monome and he has to press the right buttons at the right time that would take the skill you need to play Rachmaninovs3rd piano concerto so dont dis it! I bet youve never played on a pair of decks let alone a monome so stop dissing great musicians

  • @lesleynaughty Sounds like Guitar Hero!

  • @WithExtremePrejudice what do you call good music then?

  • @WithExtremePrejudice- Why do you waste your time on this, I agree what you're saying about auto-tune and two chord guitar riffs but this guy actually has talent and although you can't seem to comprehend it, which is sad, try coming at it with an open mind and you might like it. If not get off the page. Lastly, do not call people "sheep" for listening to a song with 45k views, the sheep are the ones listening to the videos with 45mil views, everyone here is here because they enjoy the music.

  • Mmm I dont like him

  • It's hard to get this guy until you see him live. He has a lot of energy in a live set. DOPE

  • @DJGRINGO101 like hes channeling the whole cosmos through the monome! cant wait till he plays in Britain again!

  • I'm so excited to see him this year on Halloween with GLK :)

  • I love his creations but this was not one of his better mixes

  • Whoa! This dude is fellin the music. Look at him :D

  • Hey Poopcorn, You need to get get your shit straight. DJ might stand for "Disc Jockey," but when the phrase was derived there were no such thing as discs, only vinyl. Today world class "DJ's" use a variety of formats including the monome. Stop spending your time hating and go learn to spell.

  • Comment removed

  • @phonics80 while I agree that music can come in a variety of mediums, a DJ is called a disc jockey precisely because of the vinyl disc on the record player.

  • @phonics80 a vinyls still a disc tho

  • anyone hating on Daedalus officially does NOT know what they're talking about

  • He is feeling what he is doin. Thats why his way of perfomance ist so unique!

  • hes must be hyperactive r something... these dances and the way hes talks... määään

  • I'm replying to my own comment here. Maybe not exciting looking, but the remix is fresh. There. You guys happy?

  • I can't understand people complaining about this.

It is one of the better live-remixes of the song out there, unless you enjoy Kanye West or Rana Sobhany (yes, I went there). And about his arms, I love it. I love his small little dances and absurdly overplayed movements when using his controller (just watch Moldover or Ean Golden or even Edison to see how normal it seems to be). I'd love to see him live.

  • a big LOL at the people who don't understand/can't physically comprehend the monome, so they use it as a dismissal of talent and ability.

  • i cant watch this. hs arms get on my nerves. some people shouldn't perform live.

  • @onlyaremedy78 as a professional music writer i've seen thousands of people perform, and Daedelus is by far one of THE most amazing musicans and moreso live performers out there today, or ever. HANDS DOWN, were talking like high up in my top 5

  • O COME GLI STAAAAAAAAA???

  • check this shit out guys...this video is tight...Edison using a monome.. Edison - Music Made with Buttons 2.0 - Live on the Monome

  • what is he using.... iv never seen it before

  • A customized Monome.

  • its called "monome" its a cool board

  • wow, hes really good!!!!!

  • @kskerny87 Wonderfully ignorant. As soon as you learn Max/MSP programming, get one of those controllers, and learn how to trigger things exactly on cue, come back & make another comment about the instrument's "lack of talent;" until then, you'll just sound like a fucking tool.

  • I wish I could give you 1000 thumbs up for this comment!

  • [rant]you keep telling yourself that.

the amount of time it takes to set up the thing is astonishing, it comes with no instructions at all, you're basically on your own completely and the amount of time people put into developing for it is mindblowing.

have you actually listened to daedelus' music? the depth and layering of each song is fucking incredible, and he plays the goddamn accordion as well as a plethora of other instruments.

    oh well.[/rant]

  • no your not right i would love to see you play a monome and come up with anything that didn't sound like shit :)

  • @kskerny87 do yourself a favor and actually think before you speak or share thoughts, cuz it kinda makes you seem like a retard when you don't, just a little. Maybe you should also do some research about what a monome does...

  • wtf @ :15 hahahha

  • lol at 15 seconds in

  • 15 seconds into it, he takes a sniff in the snow

  • u sure he aint poppin a roll? looks like he ate something...

  • i love daedelus...but when did he start getting so clubby??? where have you gone sir...WHERE?

  • Yeah really. I love his other suits.

  • fuckin daedelus is bad ass in his bandit costume

harder and faster then his mad hater mode haha

  • I have to say, if I didn't already know and love Daedelus before watching this video, and this was the first thing I'd seen/heard of his, I would think he was lame. For those of you hating on him, I advise you don't judge him solely on this video and watch one of his other live performances like the halloween dublab video.

  • yeah i thought he was lame at hard but i left when he mixed hrs:mins: sec there's a video it's fucking sickk

  • @yeeheehawee Please send me a link to that Video then, I can't find it anywhere, and every single Video I have seen of Him DJing is fucking Terrible and Lame. I want some Proof that he doesn't suck balls in everything he does.

I'm planning on seeing him play this Friday at Club Avalon in Hollywood and now I don't even want to go anymore.

  • @NateBlizzard22

The video I was talking about is even in the related videos on the side of this video, titled, "Daedelus Live on Halloween" if you can't find it I messaged you the link.

  • Awsome

  • it might sound better if you didn't have the cat food

  • huuummm... not so much!

  • theres a reason hes famous and your posting complaints on youtube.

  • Daedelus is the FUTURE!!!!!

mofo can mix better than everyone of you!!!

go listen to lil wayne mashups and pretend you in the know

  • so fucking true!

  • what was so terrible about it?

  • which flavor of haterade have you had today?

  • then why do you think 4,226 people have seen this video, including you?

  • awesome

  • its a monome. there were only a few made.

  • What the heck? This is awesome guys! Super cool mixing up dude. What is the pad you use with the sound effects? I would like to get one! So, whoever says you suck, screw them. Haters are lame. You rock man!

  • HAHA

  • dude...do everyone a favor and die

  • @eatshrots that's not a very nice thing to say!
