This is not a normal speedrun. This is a tool-assisted speedrun, which means he used things like frame-by-frame advancement and massive amounts of save states. It means he had perfect reflexes, and it also means that, as it is a speedrun after all, this is most likely the fastest time that anybody could complete this game EVER.

Sonic advance 3 is probably the best sonic game ever made. Imo. Time attacks feel good and the team possibilities give a whole new depth to the game. Sonic adventure 2 was good, but definitely not as good as this.

@Jezza40 yea, well, keeping in mind he probably spent ages thinking of the BEST possible frame perfect strategy. and he has rewinds. I had a similar problem with twinkle snow, but after act three I blitzed the game.

@MegaMan306 no it's supposed to be a SPEED run so you do the game as fast as you can, if you change characters it's going to take time and the stage completion time might be slower. you don't just ask Usane Bolt to do a flip during a 100 m to make it more interesting do you ?

He soft reset so he could get the fastest times in each stage. Some characters would waste alot of time cause they can't access the best shortcuts.
