  • i love this pic!!

  • Don't know what this MTV wannabe shit was doing mixed in with 60s garage punk...

  • deamn!!! i haven't listen great music since THE CHAMELEONS... :D

  • si, es verdad, como hacen para aguantar tanto tiempo quietos?

  • been trying to find this song for AGES!!! i screamed wen i found it

  • this song explains so much.....why can't we talk throu lyrics

  • phat ! !

  • genial! me encanta este grupo la verdad!

  • They sound like a band from the '80's, in the best possible way!

  • This reminds me of the cure (:

    I love it so much!

  • Thank god for The Drums. Matt & Kim-ish/Cure-esque/The Smiths/upbeat/fun/80s/surfwave. Refreshing. After hearing a couple tracks on SIRIUS XMU, I finally downloaded their full album "Summertime!" yesterday..and have yet to stop. DAMN. SO GOOD.

  • Loving the Cure-esque guitars!

  • I'd have said these were more like The Smiths than anything, they really mention them a lot in the NME article, and also, fucking love this song.

  • i agree its sounds like beach boys/the cure

  • guitar tone of THE ORGAN sans integrity

  • very the cure, but i really like it

  • new order

  • yes! new order's influence on today's music is huge. the vast majority of indie groups are doing the same stuff NO did a couple decades ago. it's not a new trend either...for those saying this sounds like the cure, where do you think the cure got their ideas?

  • The Cure was way before New Order and was around the same time as Joy Division.

  • I don't think anyone is saying this sounds like Seventeen Seconds. The Cure didn't adopt this style until 1985.

  • But one could say that New order are Joy division.

  • One could, but NO is not JOY DIVISION.They lack the one essential ingredient and that is IAN CURTIS.

  • @Bakuninite87 They also don't really sound that much alike (post Movement, anyway)--New Order incorporated influences from Disco, Hi-NRG, and even R&B, which aren't present in Joy Division. I actually think this sounds much more Marc Almond/Soft Cell, especially the vocal.

  • Nothing special? May days, it's so special, so lyric intense, such a good sound. Each to there own :)

  • This message shall address DRDOWNBROWNS only. I am actually horrified!!! The thought of the Smiths as mere Pop you clearly have no understanding of the band.

1.They signed to rough trade AN independent (think about that)

2.watch the video of charming man on TOTP where mozza sings into a bunch of flowers. His stand against the BBC, and not wanting to mime like all other POP artists of the time.

3.Suffer little children tackled the delicate subject moors murders.

    now tell me POP??

  • whats wrong with the smiths being pop?

  • The Drums sound more accurately like Orange Juice - sounding utterly joyous while singing about melancholic affairs. The Cure thing is slightly there, but seems they're destined to be attached to anything vaguely 80s why people try to figure out their bastardized sound.

  • Está chida la rola :P !!!!!!

  • increíble el video , es como... estático!

  • @MrBranvan3000 hahahaha

  • Comment removed

  • why don't you all do yourselves a favor and go listen to the Smiths

  • If you were going to make comparisons surely you'd go with The Cure.

  • Oh man, I love the drums but please dont insult The Cure by likening the two!!! Smith is far superior! =P

  • Because the smiths are too pop. Whats nice about the drums is that they are pretty down to earth. This is such a good song. I may be a bit biased however. Connor (the drummer for the drums) is my Band teachers son. haha lol

  • The Smiths are too pop? Are you joking? the Drums are much more pop than The Smiths. Listen to some Joy Division if you want tunes. Jerk

  • Pop as in popular. Mainstream. That kind of thing. Based on my description of the drums as being "down to earth" i figured you would be educated enough to figure that out. Its not that complex. Had I have described The Drums as indie and The Smiths as Pop, i would understand your confusion. But I didnt, which makes you ignorant. Jerk (haha, i had to add that... im not actually angry... at all. I just wanted to clarify what i mean. I dont need you to hate back. )

  • neither the smiths, neither the drums, are pop xD

  • yes, they are

  • they aren't...

  • @DrDownBrowns your joking surely?

  • @miles718 ohhh dey r prettyy Awesome too :D man i luv dese bands :)

  • far far far far far far far far fart :)

  • i love this video , simple and great :)

  • Song of the year!

  • dude i am watching this to test computers at work

  • in love with song wish there was a video for it!

  • makes me feel stupid too

  • its like beach boys meet the cure x2

  • @teklikethis

I don't heat anything Beach Boys about this...The Cure, sure.

  • Loveitloveitloveitloveitloveit=D Reminds me of KissMeKissMeKissMe era Cure
