It's an easy gun to clean. That's needs to be done before firing. I like my PT 111.

I'd also like to inform you that they are RARE instances, no matter what the media wants you to believe. Another thing is that I haven't heard of a school shooting in a long time, particularly a highschool one. Also, guns themselves have never been the cause of any crime. Do you feel compelled to build a house when you hold a hammer?

@bigstabby In the UK guns are almost impossible to get as a civilian. Gun crime in the UK? I've almost never heard of somebody getting shot. Everybody has bad days and often people are angry with each other. Fact is if you have a gun around and you're angry you might go crazy and do something stupid which you'll regret later. Also why would you need a hammer unless you are hoping that at some point you will have to use it to hammer something?

@kotapaka The hammer thing was a euphemism. And the reason gun crime in the UK is so low is because they don't have guns. But it's LOW. It's still there, because 1/3 of gangmembers are still able to obtain handguns. Also they have a higher violent crime rate than even the US. 70% of home invasions occur while the homeowner is home while the number is 30% in the US. Guns don't increase crime. The National Safety Council shows 2.5 million crimes are prevented in the US by armed citizens annually.

I just bought one on on Sat. I took it to the firing range today. It fired and did not eject the bullet 2 different times. My buddy told me that I needed to get my forearm more behind it and it did not happen again. The first time it did not eject, I felt a little gun powder spray on my glasses and face when it fired, but nothing serious. Should I be concerned?

cool video. It kinda fits in to the 24/7 Pro DS. dissasembles the same. Gave me an idea of stuff i wasnt doing, or i was doing but not with the Remoil on my 24/7. I tried to clean my mag the way you showed but the mags are different. O well i guess ill have to read the insruction manual.

i like the safety on this gun its very easy and quick to engage and disengage for right handed shooters but do they make a left handed version

Great Video, I love my PT-111.  I highly recommend getting the Grip Extension for the Magazines. It will fit your hand 1000x better, the extensions can be found on ebay for around 10 bucks. Keep up the great work on the vids!

Good video, I have a first generation pt111 and noticed a few differences from yours and mine that i hadn't seen b4, mostly cosmetic, 'till I noticed the recoil spring and guide rod. In mine it's a two piece assembly, looks to me, IMHO, that the second part of the recoil spring assembly is missing or removed on yours. When mine is assembled the tip of the guide rod protrudes thru the front. I own pt140 and pt111 purchased new, both are same. Just curious what version you have.
