  • you know they say that 1 and 5 people non't even make to the ground

  • Lol this dudes got Ballz of Steel to do this XD

  • he must have to swim a long way back

  • @WhiteboyLaurelst helicopter or boats likely got him. no one would leave him to swim out there.

  • wat if he lands in the ocean, WAAAAH!!!!

  • amzing noth

  • It must be tough to carry around balls that big!

  • if he took off above the US you think he could make it to UK with wing suit??

  • @onebeanmachine air to carry him doesn't go that high. the altitude he's at when he jumps has no air for flight so he falls around the speed of sound. a wing suit wouldn't work until he hit whatever part of the atmosphere has air. you'd have to crunch a few numbers to find out how far someone can go. altitude by velocity and how fast he's falling vertically.

  • i thought he hit over 500 mph before he hit atmosphere

  • According to my calculations, 9 minutes and 22 seconds using 56m/s as terminal velocity.

  • unbelievable.... I'm the next ......ヅ

  • how long did you fall for? and where can i do this? seriously...i wanna

  • @davioio i don't think civilians are allowed. he's military. you can do it 20 miles above the surface of our planet.

  • @davioio I heard 15 minutes from jump to touching earth again.

  • song should of been " i wanna fly away, AWWWWAAAAAAYYYYYY" by lenny kravits

  • i watch this every night before i go to sleep!... starting now.

  • How superheroes take showers.

  • Imagine Dropping your camera Music Plays * Baby come back!* XD

  • @morganmenard Im sure he had some kind of tracking device on him.

  • i would LOVE to see that darkness of space and the curve of the globe.. Like Drumkeeper93 said, id be okay dying after this.

  • imagine his face if he started to float away lool

  • felix is a legend

  • Is this fake or....... ?

  • @Haitchyy Omg nice then :D

  • @MoThErFuCkEr445 no, it happened.

  • @coconut7joemanji Sad is'nt it..

  • I do not remeber the the person's name, but he was the first person to test out the space suits, I believe he lost a finger beacuse the glove was not sealed right. and this is also the video from boards of Canada and the song is called davan cowboy. love the editing in it, from space to the ocean.. awesome video :)

  • Hey that was on science channel to!!!! I bet you copied it.

  • @611Bigdaddy He's not IN space yet, but almost.

  • that has got to be one of the most beautiful sights in the world, or rather off the world.

  • @611Bigdaddy You're an idiot, this isnt MID space, this is the upper statosphere. So no, he wouldn't be "all over the place"

  • splat

  • @611Bigdaddy look up joe kittinger

  • How is it that something as cool as this has only 99,806 views when something as lame ass as the "duck song" has 53 million, it says a lot about people.

    The Human Experiment has failed!!!

  • Not any more dangerous then jumping from 1,000 feet.

  • @611Bigdaddy bro this not fake

  • This is a comerchial, right?? (Sorry for eventual misspelings)

  • I would get pissed if I forgot to record....

  • And 100000 feet below him people were in the right place to film him? GTFOH!

  • 31 000 m 100 000 Ft.

It is the very edge of the space.

To be burned to enter the earth's atmosphere from space, a certain speed, depending on the size of the object.

And you can see that when he jumped to Earth's gravity is very affecting him.

  • 12 people are scared of heights

  • BALLS....OF....STEEL!!!!

  • wouldnt you burn up entering the atmosphere?!?!

  • @Musketeers750 31 000 m 100 000 Ft.

It is the very edge of the space.

To be burned to enter the earth's atmosphere from space, a certain speed, depending on the size of the object.

  • respect

  • So he skydived from space and surfed back to shore.......

THIS DUDE IS THE MOST BADASS MOTHER FUCKER WHO EVER LIVED!!!!!!

  • this noble 6 is back :D !!!

  • this guy put every adrenaline junkie to shame

  • how did they get the footage from the basket back?

  • @jmr1021 wirelessly

  • @jmr1021 its like saying how people message each other pictures and stuff or like how the rover in mars send pictures to nasa.

    ''

  • He has had the most fun out of everyone who has ever lived

  • 11 people's shit landed to earth quicker than them

  • 11 people dont even know what skydiving is

  • now he has balls

  • Were the hell did the surfing come from

  • @nightangelx1 lol

  • He wouldn't burn up int he atmosphere. The atmosphere is not hot.

You probably think its hot from seeing space shuttles burn up on their way back in. The heat is caused by the shuttles traveling REALLY fast, and they encounter friction with the gases of the atmosphere. He's just falling. It'd be really cold, actually.

  • Give me a wing suit. Skydive at a 45 degree altitude and then when I hit the atmosphere, open up, fly high, fly forever.

    My life would be complete.

  • @Clonetrooper111 45 degree "angle"

  • @Mrcherokee19 Yeah I meant that ._.

  • @Clonetrooper111 Your blood would boil before you hit the atmosphere lol.

  • @Clonetrooper111 i wonder how many miles in an hour you could do

  • I think anyone can go to space, all this burning up, etc.. is all a bunch of crap to deter do it your selfer space cadets... lol

  • oh never mind he was in the stratosphere

  • how come he didnt burn up?

  • wonder how far he could have got with a wingsuit : )

  • 31.332 metres? Looking at the ambient light, its surely much higher than this? Just an observation.

  • @Ebsteins31653 nah that's about right. once you're above ~90,000ft the sky goes black. the bulk of the atmosphere only goes to around 55-60k ft

  • @edwinshap1 Oh I see. i couldn't work out (visually) a location point of reference. I'm grateful for your message edwinshap. Best wishes.

  • apparently it took him like 15 minutes to get down :L

  • Now smoke some weed and do this.

  • Now i know that sky is not the limit

  • cool video, makes me wanna go surf now! what video are those first clips of surfing from?

  • This has now been added to my bucket list!

  • You know what? I would be just fine with dying after this. I have my bucket list but if I were to die doing one thing on that list I think it would be this one.

  • Why have surf and call it skydive from space. Misleading title

  • Name of the song???????? Please :)

  • that would be the ultimate suicide :D

  • Seriously to fall from the heavens and into the drink, that takes blood of ice and nerves of titanium! cant wait for red bull to drop thier man from space, that will be some great footage....

why did it cut to surfing??

  • Sorry for the spam!:)

  • how didnt he float away?

  • @dotatough he was still in earths gravitational pull

  • @dotatough gravity haha he was still in the stratosphere.

  • its rico from just cause 2!

  • alright so is this real or fake?

  • @davidruedy real turn to fake..kittingers jump is real but the fake is he not surf after the jump.

  • @davidruedy "Out of the cities! Out of the cities! Out of the cities! Ellen White.

    The Great Controversy(a book)

Friends, this information is vital to your life!!!

Read the book Secret History of the Jesuits

  • the next day his shit arrived

  • did he died?

  • I give this guy props of course. There is a red bull maniac that is going to break this record this spring/summer. Keep your eyes peeled!

  • @Bisnarty the record is 100.000

  • @dog009988

    Meters and Feet are different....

  • When did skydiving have anything to do with surfing? Just want to know.

  • lilprplebnny.... ur a moron.... its not fully space its the startashepre u wouldnt burn up

  • Dayvan Cowby.

  • this guy is crazy!! oh wait.. it's chuck norris..

  • 9 ppl are scared of heights

  • According to meters to miles conversion, he was only 20 miles up. Per NASA, they only gives astronaut wings to a person who has gone above 50 miles. Furthermore, the boundary recognized by many in the space industry is the Karman line at a somewhat arbitrary 62.137 miles (100 kilometers). Please tell me how this guy can possibly say he went to space? By who's standards?

  • @jrusso7660 ok if he seriously went into space and fuckin sky dived in, he would burn up in the atmospeheric change, now stfu and enjoy the video, cause i know you'll never fuckin do this

  • 0:39, holy shit!!!! he REALLY was in space!!!!! FUCK!!!

  • he was probably like "how much longer until i hit the earth so i can surf?" man you are the coolest guy ever

  • Oh shit, he hit mount everest!

  • i wish this kind of thing was offered to the general public. I would save a good amount of money to do this!

  • Take off in Texas and land in africa.... that would suck sooo bad

  • @junkman567 it would be still the cheapest way to travel

  • AT 0:27-28 SEC HE SAID "SHIT I FORGOT MY PARACHUTE"...0:34-37 SHOWS THE PARACHUTE ON THE BALLON THAN AT 0:46-48 HE SAID "AWW FUCK IT LETS JUST ENJOY THE FALL" :) NOW THATS BALLS OF STEEL!

  • @xXxbebonxXx he could still be scared as fuck, but he has to fall anyway

  • Its wierd because how there is a gravity in space so you can skydive?

  • @ipanshu there's gravity everywhere. It just doesn't effect people as much in some places. Right now, if you were holding something, you'd be getting pulled towards it because of it's gravity. You're bigger, though, so you don't feel the pull.

Just because some's outside of the atmosphere doesn't mean that they're in zero-g. Even the space station and all the satellites around our planet are feeling the effect of gravity--they're just moving fast enough to counteract the gravitational pull.

  • He sky dove, into a gnarly wave. What a cool bra.

  • normal skyjump : have a risk of para no work or either skydive in some water puddle

space skyjump : have a chance to go burn to sun or skydive into a ocean

  • hes so high. i beleive i can fly... i beleive i can touch the sky. lol what if he doesnt land on the earth? jk i cant see any single thing on earth! i wonder what he did when he landed. scream, yell, cry, nothing, idk

  • hes so high. i beleive i can fly... i beleive i can touch the sky. lol what if he doesnt land on the earth? jk i cant see any single thing on earth!

  • hes so high. i beleive i can fly... i beleive i can touch the sky. lol what if he doesnt land on the earth? jk

  • hes so high. i beleive i can fly... i beleive i can touch the sky.

  • hes so high right now

  • seeing the black ness is just tingling

  • On the contrary, I don't think this guy has any balls at all!

... he had to get them amputated so that he could even fit in the airplane door.

  • why mess with the best sorry man

  • so he had to surf in?? after that massive skydive.. amazing

  • chuck norris.

  • That's Chuck Norris's son; Chuck Norris didn't need parachutes.

  • best montage...

  • fun fact: he tripped

  • What music is this ?

  • @Stantzs Boards of Canada - Dayvan Cowboy. Awesome song!

  • When did it go from skydiving to surfing?

  • awesome. start surfing after the largest jump. Fucking Adrenaline Junkie

  • now somewhere in space there is..... a hot air balloon

  • Comment removed

  • The title is 'Skydive'.

Half of this video shows random guys surf boarding.

  • @XD65 It's a cool music video. Just imagine if someone did a skydive from a weather balloon from the edge of space, and landed in the ocean, unfolded his surf board, attached a rope to it, then dropped his space gear to be collected by a ship... then he surfed back to shore. I think the idea would be awesome. I would love to do that.

  • @NoahLDiamond

You would love to but what if another planet's gravity wins and you're gone!

    Lol,

  • This man is an inspiration to live your life to the fullest. Perfection!

  • it's a shame that they didn't have HD cameras that time

  • If he's in space why didn't he float away I'm no astronaunt but I thought that would happen or is it a gravitaional pull??? And why has no one tried this since I thought there would be enough adrenilin junkies dying for the opportunity he must of got up threre an thought WTF av I done

  • @b0xing123 yes it is the gravitational pull and hes only in the mesosphere so he wouldent float away hes too close but there is no air resistance.

  • Yeah America does it big

  • it would be cool if he puked while doing it

  • it says he jumped from 31 meters.........

  • @qwertypoopbath he means 31,332 meters

  • fuck i left my parachute in my other balloon again.

  • THIS IS THE FIRST THING IM DOING WHEN I TURN 18

  • jesus christ!

  • spacesuit + oxygen mask + medication a parachute and a solid concentration

  • that guy deserve the words BALLS OF STEEL

  • 3 words- Balls of Steel

  • @dammit525 ahaha right !

  • Nimp et quand tu entre dans l'atmosphére tu fais comment pour pa etr cramer ?

  • what is the song in this vid?

  • @vaddoff Boards of Canada - Dayvan Cowboy

  • Way to turn the most ballsiest man into a gay video...

  • thats nothing but a drunk hasselhoff eats a burger

  • did he land with a surf board? or was it waiting for him there lol

  • On my To Do List now....=D

  • @WaiWu you are so brave man :)

  • Jump was real, 1960 from 102,000 feet, Project Excelsior. He also spent 18 hours in an external basket Helium Ballon at 82,000 feet doing astronomical observations Dec 1963, and read the caption guys, combination means the surfing footage is an added thing.

  • It would be great to do this before I die someday. See space with my own eyes.

    Inspires me.

  • the surfing thing obv isnt real... you go from 1960's camera quality to 1990's. Kittinger did do this in 1960 and now this other guy is trying to break the speed of sound from a higher altitude. His name is Felix Baumgartner... guy has uber balls of steel

  • the weight of his balls pulled him down. or else he woulda just floated into space

  • please, take a look on redbull stratos proyect...

  • he sky dived from above the clouds, landed in the ocean, while he was under water he took off his suite AND just so happened to land where he hid his surfboard

    and

its a surfboard so it floats so he must have chained it to the ground under the water which would have taken more time and he just so happened to come up when

    a wave was coming and

    what about the camera men

there had to have been more than one
