@StCatharinesRailFan8 I am not confusing anything, Sir. A landing aborted just before, during or after the flare, prior to reverse deployment is called a rejected landing, but thank you for your comment.
I will always have a place in my heart for the DC-10. My very first flight was in a Sun Country DC-10 from Minnesota to Orlando, FL. We barely got out in a raging snow storm and when we stepped off the plane, it was like paradise.
@guintube, this tape wasn't labeled but I'd guess 1989 to 1990 because Craig was still playing with different camera modes here which he only did early on.
Hahaha.no apologies necessary! That's sweet..he stayed right with the aircraft - calm as a cucumber- when it pulled a fast one on him...most videographers would lose it momentarily because it's so unexpected!
No expert in aviation, and would like to know why he had to do a Go-Around? Anyone enlighten me.

yes, muslims love dc 10s cause they are fast, dumb, and prone to mistakes

that's called a Rejected landing.

@flchange you are confusing the name with "rejected-takeoff". This is considered a go-around, or missed approach
