Theres a nice VS rocket launcher at the start of this level. Get up the platform right after the 3 hives and then go left along the mountain.

Useful on scorps at the start.

Btw dont bother fighting the akrid at the large area with lots of spinning and scorps and moths, just head for the door because you'll start over right after that with 1000 T-ENG and the MG. Bit lame imo. could have let me keep my VS atleast... : /

Does anyone know, if it is possible to dig through stone with the vehicle of this level?

They say something about digging, but I have no idea, where to use the diggin mode of the vehicle.

a suggestion: About 1/2 way thru this level, after a cutscene, your T.E. points are reset to 999. So for the first half of this level there is no reason to try to accumulate lots of T.E. points ... you'll lose them all at the cutscene anyway. If you just want the achievement, you can race thru the first half. The 2nd half however, you do want to accumulate T.E. for the boss battle.
