ARE U CERTAIN U WERE FILMING OUTSIDE THE LA COUNTY JAIL AND NOT THE MEXICAN COUNSULATE WITH PEOPLE LINING UP FOR THEIR MECHA CARDS?
WHY DOES IT NOT SUPRISE ME THAT THE MAJORITY ARE MEXICAN? MANY OF THESE ILLEGALS ARE CRIMINALS BY DAY AND BY NIGHT MAKING 10-12 WELFARE BABIES TO DRAW MONEY FROM THE SYSTEM.
Dude, Derail, you have to be one of most hilarious mofos I have ever come across on the web. I opened this link and I was like, "Is this for real?" Pure comedy. They way you put that funny little voice on, like you're Trevor from "The Fresh Prince of Bel Air" directing a PBS documentary.
And all your videos are just like you walking around, filming Hispanic people and people of color doing normal everyday things and restaurants and shops in the area. Then you edit the footage like you making some valid point or some great connection that's going to reveal to everyone how illegal immigrants are the cause of this city's problems.
Do you have any pics I can see? I gotta get a look at you, man.
Love the part when you look at that guy selling ice cream and you're all, "Hi!"
It's like, you could be a great filmer for a travel channel or something if you got a better camera.
Great tip: If you turn the volume off on your videos so we don't have to listen to you spout off conjecture, there are actually some really nice shots of families and the city, etc. Watching your videos with the sound off is like watching a montage of how great and diverse L.A. is.
You have talent; it's just sad you don't know how to harness it and you're wasting it all on this propoganda.
@JackMonroe no if he was all about propoganda, he would erase all of your comments talking shit about what he's doing!! but he doesnt, he leaves them for everyone to read and choose the side they feel is best!!! its not propoganda at all !!! hes fair and is only filming facts !!! im not suprised your angry though, the truth hurts !!!
Ralph besides illegals overcrowding our jails, their offspring have added to the number of BROWN inmates and visitors. It is not a matter of region or economic stanadards in California. Ventura County is one of the richest Counties in this State and ALL you see are hispanics visitor's. I will videotape them and post at my youtube site.
Finally I've found you, it will be a pleasure viewing your vids missed them so much. A friend of mine at the Ventura county jail called as they were leading illegal's from the jail to be deported..The prison visitors are ALL of brown color and yes you are right, it is an open issue that should be discussed in the open.
Stein Report last week reported that the ICE Secure Communities program found that only about 12% of all inmates were here illegally in locales that represent the highest concentrations of the most dangerous criminal aliens. Thats it. Just 12%. And that was in areas like Southern CA and Texas that have high populations of illegal aliens. Jurisdictions like Helena, Montana and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with low populations of immigrants, were not included.
And videotaping Latino families outside detention centers in heavily Latino Los Angeles and Whittier proves what? Are you also immigrant stock because your ancestors left Central or Eastern Europe not so many generations ago? There's been many demographic shifts in Los Angeles since it's been founded, does the number of Latinos in 2009 shock you? I still don't see how this helps in your anti-amnesty cause but alienate Latino followers because of your demonizing of Latinos in general.
Shock me? Hardly. Given the perfunctory effort made to enforce our southern border, I'm actually somewhat surprised that the numbers from Latin America are as low as they are. How does it "help" me? It's the truth and everyone knows it, including "Latino followers." When I illustrate with a camera that generations of criminals are deriving from our illegal immigration dilemma, that's about as powerful a message as I can send ...
... The fact that the large majority of them are brown does not make that a "hands off" or taboo subject, in my book. If that's not PC enough for you, you're probably not the audience I'll ever win over in the first place. I deal in truth, not ethnicity sensitive niceties and pretty lies. Reality and honesty commonly cut across color lines, at least that's been my experience; people know those things when they hear or see them.
You make it seem in your video that visiting jail is common to Latinos which is far from true. You're in heavily Latino areas of the southland and only showing Latinos and Bail Bonds businesses that cater to the Spanish speaking population. Poverty and a lack of education is what brings these people to these facilities but American jails aren't overflowing with the undocumented. African Americans make a large number of the incarcerated around the nation and that has nothing to do w immigration
Your comments are very interesting to me (no sarcasm intended). You're like the guy who has a hard time seeing the forest b/c all the trees are in the way. I have 2 responses: 1) Poverty and lack of educ. is not what puts people inside of jails. Committing crimes is what usually puts people inside of jails. The maj. of folks who fall into the Impoverished and Undereducated category, are not incarcerated ...
You are now making the best argument I can imagine to stop illegal entry into our country and deport those who are here unlawfully. "Uneducated and impoverished" is what most illegal aliens are. It's not the doctors, investment bankers and venture capitalists who commonly hire coyotes to bring them through the desert.
... 2) You're wrong. American jails in illegal alien rich areas are teeming with illegals. They cost taxpayers millions ea. year; and nowhere more than here in CA. Reality: Latinos is L.A. County jails are statistically overrepresented in comparison to their presence in the population. And the maj. of said Latinos behind bars are illegal aliens, former illegal aliens, or the offspring of current or former illegals. That's why you see brown folks packed into jails in places like SoCal ...
... It's hardly rocket science. They never should've allowed to remain in the country in the first place. Illegal immigration is crime, and criminal families breed more criminals. Little that is good has come from the 1986 Amnesty and our ongoing failure to control our southern border. The fact that most illegal aliens in this country are from Latin America is not something over which I have any control, nor does the fact that they are make what I filmed any less accurate and honest.
You're demonizing of Latinos is akin to extremists who say our Jewish brothers "run America and the media, are swindlers and crooked lawyers ." These aren't truths and frankly are very much to the extreme.
Your characterization of what I uploaded as "demonizing of Latinos" is akin to you making a film decrying and illustrating violence in the NHL, and me posting a message beneath it that states you are unfairly stereotyping whites. It wouldn't be true and would be intellectually/logically unsupportable, much like your criticisms of this video.
that's a huge stretch. Anyways, crime has been down in Los Angeles and in large swathes of the Southland. Is that also because of the large number of Latinos now living amongst us?
No, it's dead on the money, actually. We're going to have to get you enrolled in some manner of 12 step program. Eventually, we're going to have to wean you off this mad desire to substitute "Latinos" for "illegal aliens." Insofar as crime being down in L.A., do you genuinely believe that. The economy is rotten, public schools graduate a fraction of their enrollees and Chief Bratton has just quit one of the best jobs in his profession in the nation. Dude, you're being lied to ...
... it is not as safe as it was in 1956, anymore than the Clippers will play for the NBA title this coming year. The specifics of the deceit you've been fed can be located by Googling these terms: "Bratton crime rate 1956 LA Weekly"
A friend of mine's brother did some hard time. When he got out he was determined to become a better person and contribute to society. If it weren't for the support of his family, he might not have made it.
That those in that jail have family that care enough to visit is a good sign.
Yeah, she had a box but I doubt it was for a detainee inside. The whole thing is almost treated like a social event or outing by many of the people visiting an inmate. They bring food and socialize just outside what is designated as the visiting area of the jail. I've seen the same thing play itself out around other jails here in SoCal, as well. For some of the little kids, being processed into jails and visiting relatives is a normal part of childhood.
Dam you are so racist.

granted, but a large chunk of those criminals writhing in cells are uneducated and lived in poverty for most if not all their lives.
