  • Cochise + The Narrows

  • Audioslave sign

  • Man I forgot about this song. First heard it right after Audioslave's first album came out. I thought it was a demo tape for the album hah..

Cochise for sure, with Narrows at the end. Good stuff

  • its like the lyrics of a song of charly garcia called "los dinosaurios"

its about the dictatorial goverment in argentina and it goes like:

the friends in the neighborhood can disapear... and so it goes

its a beautiful song and its about how that militar goverment used to disapear people and never say what was done of they

  • Man, how awesome is this? Never heard about this project before.

  • Not that important I guess but this was recorded in 1997 according to Vic Bondi's website.

  • im sure the comments are dead and buried but man, you cant even put jonas bromancers in the same breath as ratm and tom morello...its like comparing a high school talent show to any successful band that has played for decades.

  • Tom plays the riff from 'The Narrows' towards the end too...

  • cochise :P

  • The only thing ruining this is Vic Bondi. His voice is killing my ears.

  • It's sorta like the Cochise before Cochise, really, heh. I like it.

  • mmm cochise . what a great taste

  • thats some funky shit!

    tom morello rules!!!!

  • this fucking discussion -.-

everyone has another taste of music

we shouldn't care who was more successful

i think more i don't have to say

  • ratm fans are not idoits they are very smart people tom morello is a real metal rockers not a poser all you haters are posers

  • i just don't get why everyone have made this to a forum about audioslave just cause the riff in cochise in with here

  • This is good but Cochise is miles better of course!!

  • hey, does anyone know where to find the lyrics to this? ive looked almost every where trying to find it and ive still got nothing. i would really appreciate it.

  • this is classic Morello.Just like everytime he picks up a guitar...he's out to blow the world's mind.

  • since there is no more Audioslave,

    Perhaps a reformation of Weatherman?

if all the parties are still alive, im not sure

  • lol this is actually better than Audioslave's Cochise with Chris Gaynell on vocals

  • the sound of someone getting fucked in the ass with a chainsaw is better than anything audioslave has ever done

  • You must be a RATM idiot fan who got so angry at Audioslave being succesful and great and just will never accept it. And, a lesson for you, Chris Cornell is the best voice ever so...

  • hahaha, well I'm so sorry for you, but RATM was always and still is more successful than Audioslave ever was. Both in numbers of records sold and fans(especially!). Oh, and Rage was more critically acclaimed too. Did audios ever make a classic influential album like RATM self titled one? RATM IS a band, Audioslave was a "superband", unreal. Go to a RATM concert and you'll see what's great and real.

Or if you don't like it, just listen to Soundgarden.

  • Well, if you think that Audioslave existed for less years than Rage and they put out less albums, the comparison falls to the gap. Although, I didn't say I don't like Rage (clearly they're one of the best bands out there right now). And the first Audioslave album is considered one of the best of this decade. Abd btw, Soundgarden are my favorite band along with Audioslave.

  • This decade has pretty much sucked in music. But still Audioslave won't be put in the top 100 in 2010. Yet still RATM's first album is considered to be one of the best of the 90s, alongside OK computer, Loveless, In the aeroplane over the sea, Either/Or etc. I don't blame u for liking Audioslave, there's even worse bands out there that people like. I own their first album and I think there's maybe 2 or 3 good songs.

  • Just because RATM was more sucessful doesn't make them a better band. A band is made by its music. So, by your logic, we can say that the Jonas Faggots are better than Rage because they have more fans. Fuck you. Audioslave rules. Go watch a Rage music video if you like them so much.

  • well well... that doesn't make any sense, 'cause Jonas Brothers won't be making any kind of list made by people who actually know about music. By 'successful' I meant more that it's critically acclaimed not that it has sold more or impressed some 12 year-old girls after being shown on M*V.

  • All I'm saying is that you don't see any Audioslave fans commenting on Rage videos saying "audioslave rules rage sucks etc., etc.", and that Rage isn't necessarily better than Audioslave. So why start pointless fights just because you think one band is better than another? This isn't even an Audioslave video anyway, it just uses an Audioslave riff.

  • I posted that original comment a YEAR ago.. and when I read it now it kinda looks stupid.. I wouldn't post that sort of childish stuff on internet anymore. However, I still dislike Cornell a lot, especially after his new mainstream stuff he released this year.

    peace out

  • LOL, yea, cuz chris cornell's lyrics are so deep and meaningful. and his voice is so original and not like anyone else's.

  • Exactly timmy xD

  • hey hey respect man..everyone has different choices ok, Audioslave was awesome band because the Ratm...that is my opinion. and u cant compare Cronel with De La Rocha man.....different lyric style, in live De La Rocha rip the stage and Cornell was the same voice like Soundgarden..so Cornell is not the best voice, both are differents if u r a Audioslave fan dont say that, all good music and good work done but nothing same like the RATM power......

  • this riff came first in this side project or what eve you want to call it, then he used the same riff in cochise in audioslave

  • do you have the rest of the weatherman album?

  • weatherman wasnt the album was it? i thought when he played with Bondi it was called "The Weatherman Sessions".... i think the album is called "Bold as Rage"

  • this is prollymy favorite sonh

  • merllo is god

  • What is this?

  • It was a side project for Morello back when he was in rage. He recorded a few tracks with Vic Bondi

  • cochise... hey rawful, thanks for sharing. morello is amazing
