Thanks! I had an even better chance to film an adder in sunlight on the middle of the day this summer. I didn't make it, though, because the snake fled when I screamed discovering it very close to my feet.

Thx for the comment. I didn't know about Austin S. until now. Our cable operator ComHem switched Discovery Mix (with Animal Planet) to another channel a couple of years ago sadly. I found an Adder and took some shots when it was almost still. I was a stupid 4 inches (10 cm) from the snakes head when I took the macro shot. I ran out of memory when the snake started to escape and managed just a still instead of movie. Next day I went back to dramatize but no snake to take pictures of, just me.
