i can't even play this smoothly at a moderate speed. how many hours did you practice on average per week....

@imanrox1 I'm a sophomore in college. Yes, I'm majoring in music. But if you notice, I posted these videos the day the etudes were released. Even though it had been years since I worked on these specific etudes, I worked them up in a few hours. And my clarinets were getting overhauled so I was getting almost no playing done over the summer.

TT_TT im screwed this is our AUDITION music for wat bands we're gona be in and im WAY slower than this! TT_TT even if its only 1-25 i still cant play it that fast. ur amazing btw and i LOVE ur high notes! they come out beautifully! :) i cant wait to hear u with ur own clarinet! :D

You know the judges will take off points for not breathing in the correct spots right? Just checking. Great job though. I am a sophomore and also hope to make all state 

@clarinet1133 In the three years that I've made All-State (2008, 2009, 2010), I've never found that to be the case. Those breath marks are editorial marks inserted by David Hite, not by Rose. Even though they are sometimes appropriate, I feel like most of the time they create incongruities in the phrasing. What I'm trying to say is that I feel like a lot of those breath marks are a last resort for others that can't perform it any other way.

Since you asked for a comment - it's a bit wild and much faster than the marked speed. I'd slow it down, clean it up, and do more dynamics.
