Seemingly Cherones never got it. Im sure a lot of visible performance errors showing on camera in the early episodes are his fault, he used to say "i don't care that's the take" and some laughing of the actors ended up appearing in the show... No wonder they ended changing the director
@Kilovolver He directed the first five seasons, though, so your reasoning there is totally invalid. Obviously he knew what he was doing, or else he wouldn't have lasted for five seasons.
@hakola95 I respecfully disagree, he wasn't that good of a director... the errors are there, you can see them for yourself. Look for the inside look of "The parking garage" and you'll see what i'm talking about. Plus, I think he never was "one of the guys", at least not like Ackerman was.
@hakola95 Watch in that inside look the part where Jason quotes Cherones "It's the last take, i don't care what the hell we get!". Pretty... not good. Best regards
"The only dialogue I ever made up were quotes that I printed" LOL!!!!!, One thing about this show, it could only be created by someone who has some exposure to the talmud, whether directly or through culture. The show is all about "rules". as in "if this person does this, what is the right thing for me to do". It gets down to the smallest minutia at times. The essence of this show is " OMG, what should I do", and then they do the wrong thing and we all cheer!
isn't it amazing how jason alexander truely portraied larry's experiences and reactions to the best of his ability and is he ever great! it takes so much talent, as larry;s talking about his reactions to 13 episodes. I can just picture goerge throwing in a crazy fit getting nervous about not being good enough. I LOVE IT! hats off to Jason!
If not for the unique way in which Jerry and Larry saw life and the subtleties in people's personalities, there's no way all the pieces would have fallen together so smoothly the way they did.
Holy shit, I'm just like Larry David.

The NBC Executive's don't get this episode because they probably never had to wait for a table like us "regular" people.

It was a clear vision right from the start. This is what makes real it genius. "Seinfeld" bacame a "Tour de Force" and we all benefited from it.

Even in remembering, the network people are so stiff and clueless. It really seems like good tv happens only by accident.

@WalterLiddy They have a different perspective than those who write or create shows.
