I just got a new ADORABLE red shiba puppy today. She's only 4 months old :) Her name is Sammie :D Oh and tarzaproductions, be careful with your shiba, the cream ones have health conditions. Anyways, cute shiba :D

I've actually read from reliable sources that that's a myth. Cream Shibas are discouraged because it hides the distinctive white "urajiro" on their undersides, a signature of the breed. They are in no way inferior to any other color Shiba.

@curiouscale very true. the only downside to a cream shiba is that they are not qualified as show shibas because you cannot see their markings.

my Shiba, Yoshi does that lol he's so funny. he's not black, he's red. Shibas are such beautiful dogs. i surprisingly found mine in a shelter in another county. he's the total opposite of other Shibas when it comes to temprament. Shibas are known to be a little aggressive, but Yoshi is docile like a fawn.
