@inveitable Yeah, this probably deserves an explanation. Lauren Faust, who worked on the Power Puff Girls and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends with her husband Craig McCracken, recently started working on a new My Little Pony cartoon. It caught on with the internet pretty fast because it's actually pretty good- not perfect or anything, but it's about as good as a cartoon for little girls can get.

@NotPigeonV2 I want to be a screenwriter once I get out of school, and because the entertainment industry is so ludicrously competitive I'll have to be willing to work on whatever I can get hired for- even if that's a stupid show for little girls. I consider it important to be familiar with as many genres as possible, so if something like MLP actually produces a decent show I think it's definitely worth watching.

@NotPigeonV2 Why do so many hate Celestia? It's not like Lauren could've added "Then Nightmare Moon went on the attack!" Cause kids obviously watch this. So it only LOOKED like she hardly had any good reason to send Luna to the Moon, but if a pony all of a sudden turn big ass evil on you with a scarey ass many and could ONLY be restrained by elements of harmony, wouldn;t you do the same?
