Hi, i've owned a factory standard '96 LavaDome since new, i also have a modern high end full-sus XT equipped alumunium bike and owned others in the past, but i keep returning to the steel Kona, it's way more fun to ride. Lovely elegant frame, ideal geometry, super responsive, razor sharp handling on the legendary P2 rigid forks, can whip it around underneath me at ease. Classic steel hardtail Konas are real gems.

Hey Jonathan, I've just tracked down my 93 cone I'm hoping although unsure, that it's in it's original nick! What an amazing bike, mine was identical to the model you're riding! Machine!!!!
