I wonder if Aled has been misclassified as a baritone and he's in fact a tenor. His voice sounds very very nicely in the high notes, but then again he sounds equally bright in the baritone register so I really don't know. Let's just say that he has a beautiful voice, an ample register and the sweetest interpretation.

Aled Jones makes my flesh creep.

There's something about the smugness and sanctimonious, and pretentiously pious that annoyed me when I first saw him from that daft Snowman song 20-odd years ago.

And he's even more irritating now. And come to that, he can't even sing that well now. At least when he was a child he had something special to offer.

The boys of Libera don't need Jones hanging on to their coat-tails.
