  • Do you realize how SHOCKING it was that she was pictured for ONE WHOLE SCENE noticeably without a BRA?!? I'm shocked that got past the censors!

  • Luv her! I call her "The Blonde Snow White"! ;D R.I.P!

  • Happy Birthday Marilyn, June 1rst.

  • love her lips

  • anyone else notice the saxophone and cello "women" were actually men with wigs..

  • @LucasBenge yeah that was the whole movie plot line. Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon disguised as woman. hahah.

  • @LucasBenge the video is from the movie Some like it hot - those are the main two guys.

  • I have to say, Marilyn Monroe definitely represents talent. She was beautiful, she was the it girl, she was and will always be the one and only end of story-case closed! Marilyn Monroe Is A Legend. Sadly, Nowadays There really isn't much people with the same talent or charm that they had back then.

  • Marilyn is so sexy

  • Can't tell if I like Helen Kane's original version better or Marilyn's... Can't choose, love them both!

  • gad, she is a true beauty.

  • Why is this 'Some Like It Hot' made later than 'Gentlemen Prefer Blondes' but is in black and white?

  • @twinqletwinqle Marilyn Monroe wanted the film to be shot in color, but Billy Wilder (the director) convinced her to let it be shot in black and white when costume tests revealed that the makeup that Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon wore gave their faces a green tinge.

  • she's a really beautiful women.. she makes me happy even when am sad or angry.

watching her movies is an honor.. God bless your soul, Marilyn.

  • i love this movie some like it hot its such a great comedy ;)

  • this movie is awesome!!!! Love this song

  • People can say anything they want but only god is allowed to judge her<3

    r.i.p Marilyn Monroe<3

  • she was gorgeous god bless her soul<3

  • christina aguilera is the closest thing we have to marilyn. if christina would have lived when marilyn did i think there would have been some competition

  • One of the best movies ever! I ROFL at Jack Lemmon's expression while he's playing that bow fiddle!

  • She reminds me of betty boop xP

  • damn. if only guys could understand that we just want to be loved and held?

  • is the bass player in the back at the right side of the screan at 0:24 a man?

  • i ♥ this song, i love her!

  • We love & miss you sweetheart!

    Rest in peace!

  • 20 people know they aren't you "you" she was speaking of.

  • Awww... When she says '' Poo poom duuruum ... (whatever xD)'' She looks cute xD

    Poupoupidou!

    Nathalie

  • she is so beautiful in so many different ways. died young an happy.

  • woah her hair is amazing! sigh as the years went by so did our talent.

  • 0:41-:45

    <3

  • When I saw this film a few years ago, I couldn't help but notice the way they had dressed her: For the time that dress was very revealing. They really sold her...it is sad, but the good thing is that she can be seen here on Youtube all these years later and truly appreciated for who she was and what she represents on so many levels...Amazing!

  • Omg I've seen this movie like 8 times and i never knew that was marilyn!

  • very sexy voice. love the heavy breathing.

  • "Some Like It Hot", hehe great movie :o)

    I ♥ her films! R.I.P. Marilyn!

  • how did she achieve so much during that time. Where was she born. how did she became what she became ..someone??

  • why is there so much marilyn monroe on the dorthy dandridge playlist?

  • Marilyn Monroe bien plus qu'une légende <3

  • I just woke up and this song was playing in my head

  • I love this movie!!!!

  • she's so beautiful

  • I LOVE HER♥

HAHAHAHA THERE ARE TWO MEN HAHAH

  • some like it hot is the best movie ever :) x

  • it's like she KNEW i was staring at her boobs.

  • difficult to concentrate on her voice but she has one.

  • She's on the pitch, soft ,sexy and a nice voice really. I think she was a very intelligent person in communication.

  • I'm confused about her dress, lol.

  • @unicornsgomoo so it's not just me that was a little distracted and unsure....where those sparkles on her nipples? LOL (awkward)

  • @unicornsgomoo so i'm not the only one....

  • @unicornsgomoo

    me too ;-)

    isn´t she sweet and sexy!!!!

  • @unicornsgomoo Before i started to watch this video, i saw your comment and thought, "I wonder what's wrong with her dress", then after seeing her it, i was like "whoa, now I know what they meant." lol

  • @unicornsgomoo me too! lol, are her boobs showing or what?

    :p

  • @unicornsgomoo same here, the front is like see though-ish with sequins on her nipple area, and then the back is like open but hanging. if that made any sense lol xD

  • @unicornsgomoo

There's an exhibition in Bath in the UK at the American museum. It featured the black coctail dress at the end of Some Like it Hot. It's basically the same as that one, but in black. They were both very tight on her and she could barely move. If you're around in the UK, it's not much to get it. It's worth going to look!

  • ♫♥♪♥♫♥marilyn monroe nel cuore ♥

  • 00:41 awwwww god that woman is amazing!

  • Never seen so much sensuality'.......

  • Marilyn...just divine!!

  • Aww, even in total sexiness, she still had that sweet innocence and was super adorable. <3

  • i reaaaallllyyy lllooovveee her <3

  • i will kill for a kiss Marilyn..°°))

  • Awesome video, why the sudden lack of comments?

  • Love her...

  • Marilyn forever!

  • this is back when stars actually had talent and charisma.

  • Still love this Classic :)

  • Wasn't this sonqq featured in a movie or somethinqq ? i forgot which one though .

  • @powey717 It's from the 1958 film Some Like It Hot

  • I really feel undecided about her i used to love her but the more i read about her the more i dislike her.. but then i think these are bias opinions so i shouldnt believe them. I preferred her more just before she died, she was becoming a real person not just a sex symbol. Does anyone else agree she appeared to become more elegant before she died?

  • @GoldenEraa I feel you may be reading the wrong books on her "life". I would suggest "Marilyn Monroe: Private and Undisclosed" by Michelle Morgan and "My Sister, Marilyn" by Berniece and Mona Rae Miracle :)

I agree that Marilyn was becoming her own person and shedding the blonde bimbo persona before she passed away.

  • sexy beutyqueen 100%

  • ptili dili dili doo poo poo bi doo in the end is so affective!

  • r.ip. marilyn

Wait for me Norma Jean Baker...it won't be long...

    Kisses Marilyn Monroe...God bless you

  • Her voice is soo cute it makes me smile every time i see this video :D

  • ti amo!!!!!!!!

  • What a tragic story... Just finished the book Blonde and, although it is a fictional account of her life, it made me see her in a whole new light. I just hope that somehow, someway, she found peace and love in the next life if not this one.

  • @bknight23 I absolutely hate "Blonde". I felt it was a disgusting portrayal of Marilyn, fictional or not.

  • all woman musicians. nice

  • I love Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn

  • Marilyn Monroe in this clip- nearly naked in Orry Kelly's great costume- is to me the movies greatest star ever. A film star for only 10 years between 1952 thru 1962 and dead nearly 50 years, she is the most famous star of all time with a gallery of great performances. She was incomparable in Some Like It Hot and should have won the Oscar. Her director Billy Wilder whom she fought with

called her only second to Garbo in ability. A legend forever....RIP Sweet Lady

  • such a loveable woman!

  • This film is awesome..

    Marilyn Monroe is beautiful :)

  • poopoopidou!!! poooo!!

  • In the end: 'ptilidilidilidum pupupidoo' is the sexiest thing on earth!

  • Boop-boop-e-doo :3

  • She was sooo perfect!!!

  • I mention Marilyn in The History Song. I'll always remember you, Norma Jean.

  • she suicided b/c she was a really troubled and depressed person, and her name was norma jean

  • @youllalwaysbemyfirst I don't believe she killed herself. She was in high-spirits and had goals she wanted to achieve before she passed away.

  • the chelo player looks like a trannie

  • @sailorpunkgirl That's actor Jack Lemmon lol

  • When was the last time you heard a new song on the radio with an orchestra accompanying a REAL singer?

  • Yeah, about that.

There will never be another Marilyn, or another anybody, because we're all different.

Too many people try too hard to be her, and fail.

  • she was gorgeous and talented and as for people caling her fat it is untrue she had a REAL woman's body unlike these unhealthy twigs we see nowadays

  • Wonderful. Her legend lives on.

    (:

  • I love that song ^^

  • Wow, I didn't know they had disco balls before disco.

  • She was so sexy but elegant at the same time =)

  • are the musicians actually guys cross dressing? LOL! they're so funny looking!

  • I love the pinky point on 0:55 :)

  • wilder was a genius. the lighting in this scene is brilliant. that spotlight comes dangerously close to "falling off". and of course nobody played clueless like MM.

  • I concur.

  • OMG SHITS FUCKIN HOT ill love her always.

  • she is so cuteee... and soo so beautiful, my god she has an amazing body

  • I love this time period in cinema, as well as music. So classic. It's so disappointing that this kind of music is so scarce these days. If its not about sex, drugs, alcohol or violence, it isn't likely to get on the radio.

  • nobody cant look like her or by sow sensueal like your or pretty like her... She is a realy hot LADY!!

  • Shes Beautiful<3

  • There's only one Marilyn Monroe

  • Is that bassist and saxophonist a guy in a dress??!!!! or am I jz seeing stars...?

  • @jellene4eva That is Tony Curtis lol

  • I love you!

  • That's a nice dress she is almost wearing...

  • wow she is so gorgeous im gonna be the next marilyn monroe

  • hope u are girl!

  • There's no such things as 'the next Marilyn Monroe'. She was one of a kind, and she was a person, not a character, she can't be replaced so easily.

  • in your dreams

  • @TheGlamourdoll98 think about that for a second

  • HAHA keep dreaming, they'll never be another Marilyn

  • @TheGlamourdoll98 You can't because no one can ever be the next marilyn monroe she was and still is the one and only .

  • i think she sings cute here she sounds so small and cute she is so betty boop in blonde!!

  • @elvis4ever1935 I thought the same thing!

  • the end: la didilida bopuup :D

    soo sweeet ^^

  • HUBBA HUBBA

  • Ah, I love her. I spent a ridiculously absurd amount of money on her biography yesterday. She's my hero.

  • I knoww! haha the Secret Life of Marilyn Monroe, right? I bought that book too! :)

  • @madskittlez1122 Which one? The best I've ever read about Marilyn was the Anthony Summers bio "Goddess: The Secret Lives of MM". Now that one will knock your socks off!

  • @PJCoan I think that was a terrible book.

  • is her real surname mortenson or baker?

i've googled it, but it says 50/50

marilyn monroe forever in our hearts (L)

  • Technically both because she was born Norma Jeane Mortenson but baptised as Norma Jeane Baker.

  • @angelanazar

Norma Jean (than Norma Jean Baker and then Marilyn Monroe)

  • Her biological fathers name was Mortenson (Norwegian), but she was adopted by a Baker ( who she thought was her father initially, or something along those lines)

  • @RussianEmpress Mortenson was named as her father on the birth certificate but many believe her birth father was Stanley Gifford. Her mother baptized her with the last name Baker so that she would have the same last name as her half-brother and half-sister.

  • @angelanazar

if im not mistaken its baker

im pretty sure mortenson was either her first husbands surname or a family surname

  • @jumpyourbone Mortenson was the last name of the man her Mother was in a relationship with. Marilyn's mother, Gladys, put his last name on the birth certificate out of "respect" because she was also seeing another man, Stanley Gifford, who many believe to be the real father of Marilyn.

  • MortensEn is on her birth certificate, but she was baptized as Norma Jeane Baker :)

  • her real name is norma jean (:

  • Marilyn Monroe was born Norma Jeane Mortenson, but baptized Norma Jeane Baker...

  • According to her official website...

"She was born Norma Jeane Mortenson...to Gladys Baker. As the identity of her father is undetermined, she was later baptized Norma Jeane Baker."

I'm not sure what that means but I'm thinking the mother thought the father's last name was Mortenson, then changed it to hers.

  • It's Mortinson. Baker was her married name.

  • @angelanazar

she was born Norma Jeane Mortenson, but baptized Norma Jeane Baker.

  • her birth name was Norma Jeane Mortensen :)

  • @angelanazar mortenson is her father's last name baker is her mothers first husband last name.
