I still can't understand why people view sharks as "monsters", and as "mindless killing machines" when in reality, they have more to fear from us than we do from them. Every year, man kills more than 50 million sharks all over the world. The result? 1/3 of shark species are now on the verge of extinction! People kill them by cutting their fins while they're still alive, then tossing them right back at the ocean where they sink into the bottom and suffocate and die.
