all right, for all of you who cant deside to get fallout 3 or oblivian, heres what you do. oblivian is more of a fantasy game, if you play wow or something like that go for oblivian. if you like COD 4 or gears or something tlike that, get fallout 3

their made by the same company, 1 is a shooter rpg, and one is a western rpg.. they are both awesome but play oblivion first cus the graphics are worse, then jump into fallout3

Hows the money system work? is it like WoW money system (u get 100 copper=1 silver, 100 silver = 1 gold?) 3. I've noticed from the videos that u lvl up...do u need 2 be a certain lvl or have a skill to ride a mount or can u just go buy 1 and u can automaticly ride it? not enough room left 4 another q so: awesome armor

Stop thinking about WoW dude.

The horse will appear at the next city that you go to, in a stable. No you don't need to be a certain level for a mount.. and the money system is just in gold, thats it.

Why don't you just play the game? As if those questions are necessary..

FYI you might want to turn the difficulty down a little if you don't like hard games.

Well I haven't played oblivion for very long, but it is one HELL of an addictive game! I tried it out on my computer, and it lagged SO badly, it would lag every step i took, but i was so drawn into it, i still managed to play 2 hours straight! I only gave up because i met I couldn't kill this thing because of the lag.

i can play this game just on all lowest and it not always play smooth in dungeons etc its smooth but around thati mperial city it may play a bit slowly but i got used to it :P we got a 3 year old pc and i cant put in the newest videocards because a older slot bla bla got a nvdia 6200 :(

hmm... how about the atmosphere though?

I think it would be way more immersive to be sitting on the couch/ bed playing it on a huge HDTV widescreen holding those godly 360 controllers than it would be to be playing it on a puny desk on the computer with a cold keyboard.

Downloadable contents would be much easier on the PC, yes, but i think it would be a worthwhile sacrifice xD! You could just buy shivering isles to compensate for that.

I had (and still have) this card and it played Oblivion very well. I tried to run a Crysis demo on it last year....did not go to well. The trouble with PC gaming is that you need to be constantly prepared to spend vast amounts of cash to keep up with the requirements of the latest games.

unless you find a good 8600gt, they are flogging them cheap because they arnt that good because the 8800 are winning the sales. The 8800 GTX is much better but costs a lot. You can find some inexpensive 8800 GTS'.

Its "Daedric Cuirass". You can find it on enemies and as random treasure after lv. 22 or something in that neighborhood. To get one real quick (without cheating) look in vampire lairs when you reach that level.

heres my framerates with MAXIMUM POSSIBLE settings

AT 1280 x 1024:

Outside with LOTS of grass: 8-20 FPS

Impirial city: 10-45 FPS

Indoors: 20-60 FPS

Oblivion gate: 20-30 FPS
