Try loosening up your wrists and you wont have to work so hard. Also do you play flat footed bass? Try toe on center.

Very nice. You've got a good control in your hands, let's see you play a song now. For my students i suggest an equal amount of time be spent developing feel.

And as for Dubconferencedotorg . . . She's not hopeless. She's got good skills, and really, all that matters REGARDLESS OF SKILL LEVEL is the amount of joy you get out of playing your instrument. We play drums because we love it, not to be the best or to make anyone else feel bad about themselves.

losen up your feet a bit :) you should just try some basic exercises for your feet so its not so jerky on the bass, that way you'll improve your speed and accuracy of your hits :) good job though, nice to see another girl drummer :)

I've been playing approx. 15 years now, which means I'm a little better than some people, and there are other that will woop my butt. Just play and enjoy yerselves!! That's what drumming is all about. Just never forget to keep an open mind to honest criticism and always strive to improve your playing.

Heb je ze al allemaal gedaan ?

Ik heb er in ieder geval veel aan gehad.

Eigenlijk is het gewoon 'van buiten leren' maar eens je er mee weg bent 'groovet' het wel en kun je ze overal toepassen :)

Over jouw drummen zelf; goed gespeeld, inderdaad jammer van het 'crappy' geluid. :)

Ik zou wel aanraden om nog wat te werken aan de accenten. Klinkt het geheel wat meer funky.

HI..my compliments to you. Must hv practised hard to get to that stage. However you need to work on the feel and be careful about the bass notes that are syncopated ( 1 e and ah)

the e and ah notes of the kick drum are not falling correctly. Anyway you play so much better than some of my male students. Keep up the good work comrade.

Knap gedaan, dat zijn al best lastige ritmes. Probeer alleen wat meer ontspannen te spelen. Hou je de stokken bijvoorbeeld wel alleen met je duim en wijsvinger losjes vast? Dat drumt echt veel beter als je er aan went. Maar blijf oefenen, het gaat goed!

its okay...you should really try to give the solo a part of you...try empphasizing the hit also when u play an important bass/snare/top hit and u really need to feel the melody...music is no exact science...its art...u need to feel the rythem...everyone will perceive a different rythm when playing this...you need to lear whats your...good luck with that ;)
