  • Sure, we can lump em in with all the other "cock rock" bands out there who write about rock and roll and still break out the blazing guitar solo instead of being "innovative" or "edgy" but by God, this is my kinda music! There's still hope for music, y'all.

  • First album was a blast, the 2 other just plainly sucks :(

  • @CamilleDeveveraux couldnt agree more my friend

  • @telephonebear

Hate to break it to you, but yeah it is. It sounds like almost all the other Alt. Rock out there. Radio Rock or whatever. I still enjoy it, but it has quite the generic sound.

  • @mechaghostman2 Then shit, I will only agree if we can break it down one step further & call it modern "southern" rock!!! I only say this because of the organ & his singing style...

  • @howardec

    I'll agree with that I guess. {:-)

  • this is what real music sounds like.

  • what band has the balls to rip off Thin lizzy now a days, Love it!!

  • I can't believe how good this song is O.o

  • LOVE this song, GREAT band all around. Real rock n roll right here, great to hear these days.

  • fuck sake southern rock? why cant we just call it rock for fuck sake the music industry is already fucked because f the fucking fragmented genres already geezus

  • At last!!!! no encontraba esta canción con sonido decente por aqui!! THANKS!

  • One of the best songs I've ever heard...

  • fu(king love this song its about time some one posted a decent 1 up ... ur not worthy ur not worthy wot every u do dont get rid of this =D

  • people today don't understand true music since when has synthesised singing been "music". if i listen to this at school im apparently an "emo", thumbs up if you think people are stupid for stereotyping.

  • @zzzzuuuu123456 Lmfao how in the hell is Black Stone Cherry emo? They are one of the closest things to Southern Rock of any modern band, not emo shit.

  • @175K10K175 i know i get called an emo for listening to bands like this :(

  • @zzzzuuuu123456 That's bullshit bro. Stand up for yourself.

  • @175K10K175 i do :)

  • @zzzzuuuu123456 Probably some pussy bitch that calls you emo and shit to. I hate douche bags man. They'll get what they deserve though.

I always stood for the little guy in highschool.

  • @175K10K175

Aint really no point in standing up in that situation... you can not change peoples minds these days. They will go with the crowed no matter what because they are afraid of being in "175k10k175's" shoes and dont know how to handle being a little different than everyone else.

  • @zzzzuuuu123456

Damn i dident know Southern Rock was "Emo" hahaha

  • @CozzProductions accoding to many people these days, any music made by guitars and not keyboards, synths and 11 year olds is 'emo', a shame really

  • @ultrabass5000

God bless rock that's all i gotta say.

  • @CozzProductions amen to that :)

  • @CozzProductions whoever said that is prolly a 13year old boy who has the bieber fever...

fuck rap and pop and alll that other bullshit...country and rock is where it's at.

  • @zzzzuuuu123456 screw em. dude im 14. same deal happens to me all the time but i figure if that means they know that im a rocker its all good.

  • @zzzzuuuu123456 Some people just don't understand Southern Rock. The reason it's so emotional is because Southern artists aren't afraid to be real and honest about themselves. If that involves shedding your skin to show everyone who you are deep down, so be it. It comes from the Blues influence on the genre. Black Stone Cherry is one of the only true Southern Rock bands of today.

If people want to call you "emo" for listening to REAL music, they must not have much of a taste in the first place.

  • @zzzzuuuu123456 that's only because people are fucking stupid.

  • @zzzzuuuu123456

Yeah, this ain't emo, it's just modern radio rock. Has that generic Nickleback sound and all... but fuck it, I like it. {:-)

  • @mechaghostman2 In no way does this have a generic Nickleback sound... not even close.

  • @howardec

Yeah it does, sounds like all other modern Radio Rock bands out there.

  • @mechaghostman2 ...with a southern feel, that is why I wouldn't classify it as Modern Rock... has too much of a Lynyrd Skynyrd, Allman Brothers &/or Black Crowes influence (along with some heavier guitar) to be Modern Rock. Now bands like Rev Theory & Burn Halo I would call Modern Rock, but not Black Stone Cherry. Thanks for the Back & Forth, my wife would thank you since I'm using this as an outlet so she don't have to hear about it! :)

  • @howardec

Well yeah, it has a lot of other influences in it, but mostly it's alt. rock mixed with a bunch of others like all other radio rock. In certain songs they sound a bit like Killswitch Engaged meets Metallica meets Nickleback, but in this one it's less of those first 2. Just what I hear in it anyways. {:-p And lol, tell your wife I said, "You're welcome." {:-D

  • @zzzzuuuu123456 is it Jr High?

  • @Saxonwist im 15
