  • Wow that looks delish!

  • @askunique I really enjoy this soup. We make variations of it often. thx, KtC

  • I'd need that to be thicker and also to nix the cilanto. I'm one of those people to whom cilantro tastes like soap.

  • @Hoopermazing It is a hearty soup however, I would suggest another can of tomatoes if you like it thicker. It is soup though so add more of what you enjoy. No cilantro necessary! cheers, KtC

  • Mouth watering. Cool and simple recipe videos. Just subscribed.

    Thank you!

  • @Johnny5liter Hi! Thanks for the subscription. Much appreciated. Any questions, I will try to answer. Any tips please share. Constructive criticism welcomed.

This is a tasty soup to try. I love making the soups. Yes, a few videos here. Some ideas and recipes I enjoy sharing without me boring you :)

From Tandoori chicken to frozen french fries :)

    cheers! KtC

  • @ScrotalKarma I have had it that way myself too at times. More like a tortilla soup. Tasty! KtC

  • @ScrotalKarma The kidney beans work well, I have also enjoyed them instead of the pinto beans. Happy you gave the recipe a try and enjoyed it. I make the soup a few times a year and folks always enjoy it. I haven't tried the yogurt but it too would certainly work well I would think. Thanks for sharing your ideas. Have a great day! KtC

  • thanks for posting!!

  • @lindabebe835 You're welcome! Tasty soup. I should make some. I haven't had any in awhile. cheers! KtC

  • we make it in my country and i make gallo pinto is rice and beans together and you put onions, cilantro, peppers and you can serve it with eggs for breakfast but the secret ingredient is salsa lizano that you never will find it here.

  • wow Sounds really good. I get the salsa lizano here (although I have to go a nit out of way). thanks for the tip! KtC

  • wow

  • that's what I said too! cheers! KtC

  • I´ve never seen on of those pots here.

  • You need one, hmmmm, very inexpensive. Perhaps back home? I will send info. r

  • Silly me. No slow cooker folks?? Use large pot (boil beans 15 minutes first, drain, add back to pot, (some do this even with slow-cooker) Cook 'all' medium - low heat 2 to 3 hours (until beans are desirable consistency). Slow cooker's are easy and retain flavours but do take time. cheers! KtC
