That is so bizarre. I've seen a video of a dog that sleep walks. It would start to run in it's sleep then actually get up to run while it was still asleep and would smack right into a wall. Apparently there was nothing wrong with the dog, but the owners found a doggie helmet for it just to be on the safe side. The clip has even been on Animal Planet's Bad Dog show.

My cats all have these quaking "tremors" sometimes when they sleep, particularly the males. it's called RBD - rapid eye movement behaviour disorder. normally our muscles are paralyzed during REM cycle (with the exception of the eye...hence REM - rapid eye movement). but in some individuals the paralysis doesn't happen and they act out whatever it is they're dreaming about. google it if you'd like to learn more.

Awww, poor Milkshake! My heart sank when he rolled over and you had the shot of his face upside down. It looked like he was dying and it made my stomach turn (of course he wasn't, but it wasn't a good look for the guy!). What was the diagnosis? I'm glad you got him on meds.
